Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs Airport, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Colorado Springs - 1815 Aeroplaza Dr, USA

Long time Marriott guy here making the switch to IHG. I had to take a moment to highlight the awesome service at this hotel. Shouts to Maura who was incredibly sweet and upgraded my room to a suite without even asking. Thanks Maura! To top things off I left my pillow in my room and checked out. Didn't realize until night time at the next hotel that I was missing my favorite pillow, that I fly with, which they don't even make anymore. Called the hotel, spoke with Elijah, he found my pillow and held it for me. Right on, Elijah, you are my favorite person right now. Happy to be with my new IHG family where things you accidentally leave in your hotel room don't magically disappear (looking at you Marriott). Overall friendly staff, clean rooms, nice views, and it's located next to a Mavericks gas station!

Bottom line, the overall house keeping at this hotel is awful. Upon checking into my room, I quickly noticed that the sheets on the bed were dirty to include the shower curtain in the bathroom was filthy. I immediately informed the front desk staff, who were very understanding, and polite, but there was a lady I suppose from the housekeeping staff that was just completely unprofessional and rude with a terrible attitude, and I assume she didn’t appreciate me addressing my concerns with the front desk. As a paying customer I refuse to go back and forth with an unprofessional employee, so I just politely checked out the hotel, and made a hotel reservations elsewhere.

I have stayed at this location approximately once a month for the last 10 years, and everyone on their staff treats me like family. The property is well-maintained, the rooms are nice sized and well furnished for the business or leisure traveler.

Awesome hotel stay. We checked out of another hotel because of a bad experience and had to find a new hotel last minute on a Sunday night. Holiday Inn Express took us in and the lady at the front desk was amazing. They even had some frozen dinners in the lobby we could buy so we didn't have to go out and find food that night. Staff was amazing, breakfast was awesome and the rooms are clean and smell great. The pool and hot tub work and we even got to do our laundry for free. Great hotel 5 stars from us!!

This hotel is filled with friendly staff. For a two star, it rocks, really. Breakfast had a wide assortment of choices. Bed was comfortable. Two big TVs in my room.

We stayed here for 11 nights while attending a wedding, and over those 11 nights someone's truck was broken into, and we heard multiple gunshots another night, so the area that the hotel is in did not seem like a safe area to be in. The front staff are very nice people! The room service staff seemed quite lazy as they completely skipped out on our room when we were scheduled for room service after confirming with the front desk. Free breakfast was consistently good! Overall, it was a decent experience.

Rooms were a little small for two beds but they were clean. Staff was really friendly especially Ms. Shauna. We went to breakfast late but she still allowed us through before she cleaned up and we had a great conversation with her during breakfast.
