Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cocoa Beach, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (714)
Let me start by acknowledging that the hotel was under renovation during my stay. I was not informed that the kitchen was missing a stove top. The hole was there, but there was no top. The bathroom counter was very short while the toilet was very tall. Water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. The living area was good except for the lighting. There was only a small hanging light in the corner that only illuminated straight down, so the room was dark. Bedrooms were nice and comfy. Breakfast was typical.
I admit, I am a Holiday Inn fan. This hotel is absolutely great! The location is near I95 and 520 giving it easy access to everything along the coast in Florida. It is within a reasonable distance to the cruise port in Canaveral and to the Kennedy Space Center. The rooms are clean, staff is excellent and common areas are clean and well kept. The morning breakfast consisted of both hot and cold foods and was well presented - and good. Beds are comfortable but pillows are really terrible. Of the 4 on my bed, not one of them gave any support. The hotel is off the highway and very quiet. It is reasonably close to shopping and restaurants. Beach is not nearby but within a reasonable distance. I would definitely stay here again for a visit to Cocoa Beach.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and I have to say, it was a great experience overall. The hotel's proximity to key locations made my stay incredibly convenient, saving me time and hassle.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities a business traveler could need. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met.
However, I do have one quirky gripe: the toilets. I'm not sure if they were designed for giants or if there's a secret basketball player convention happening, but these toilets are comically tall. I felt like I needed a squat to potty, and I'm fairly certain I developed new leg muscles just trying to sit down!
In conclusion, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone traveling on business or pleasure. Just be prepared for a laugh when you encounter the towering toilets!
Booked this room for 1 night prior to a cruise and it was perfect for what we needed. I thought it was caddy corner to the Publix, no it was directly next door sharing the parking lot which was perfect for us who had to buy 6 bottles of wine for the family to bring into the boat. Was 1 block to the right and 1 block north (I am directionally challenged so not sure if this is geographically correct) of a walk up the pier/Beach. The breakfast was more than I expected... Had biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. The gym was small (one treadmill, one elliptical, one bike, and I've bench) but it was fine for one night. The room was nothing special but again fine for one night. One thing to mention was that our toilet was oddly high, so much so that I had to be on my tip toes to literally get on it. I had other family members in the same hotel and they said it was not a problem for them so that was odd. Overall would recommend based on location and breakfast. They also offer shuttle to the port for a fee.
The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. Other than that our stay was great. The hotel is older, but the remodeling will be nice. Front desk personnel were very helpful. Close to the port. Good breakfast and easy checkout. We would stay again. Public is next door.
The Holiday Inn express at Cocoa Beach was amazing. Newly renovated rooms. Mike, the manager was awesome. JOHN was particular and made sure that everything was perfect for your stay. Ryan and Chase were great. In the morning during the continental breakfast Stephen went around and made sure that everybody had everything they needed. Roseanne, the maid was just delightful. You will not be disappointed for running a room here. We are leaving our car here for the duration of our cruise. Great, awesome service beautiful room! 2 blocks from the ocean beach. The hotel has a nice little shopping center right behind it.
We knew the hotel was under construction so that was expected. However, all the styrofoam ended up flying into the unheated pool making it unenjoyable. Heat pump in the spa was not working. The a/c unit in the room was extremely noisy and kept waking me up when the unit kicked on.
Stayed overnight here for a cruise out of Port Canaveral. Shuttle service to the Port was $8/per person. A 3 mile drive. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the pool area nice. Hot tub was only Luke warm.

It's hard to pry a five star review out of these hands. Honesty prevails. I really like this inn, a cross between Mom and pop hotel and a BandB. The ladies that run the breakfast are so sweet, and breakfast has plenty of non chain touches. The ro
