Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clovis-Fresno Area, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Clovis - 650 W Shaw Ave, USA

We had very nice large room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were quite good and I think any diet needs could be satisfied. Location works for me when in Clovis/Fresno. Always ample parking even with a U-Haul truck. Have stayed multiple times and would return.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while I was pleased with the cleanliness of my room, I am disappointed with the overall experience due to the company's poor customer service.||During my stay, I had a family emergency that required me to leave unexpectedly. I reached out to the company, hoping they would be understanding and work with me regarding a refund or adjustment. Unfortunately, despite the situation being a medical emergency, they were unwilling to accommodate my request. ||I understand that refunds can be a complicated matter, but I expected a local company to be more empathetic and flexible in such circumstances. To make matters worse, the staff I spoke with were not friendly or helpful, which only added to my frustration.||While I appreciate the cleanliness of the room, the lack of customer care and unwillingness to work with me during a genuine emergency was disappointing. I would hesitate to recommend this company, especially if you might need flexibility or compassionate service in unexpected situations.

Just brought my high school group here and the service could not have been better! Alliyah took care of us from reservation to check-out and was on top of every single detail! She contacted us whenever there were any questions in advance, and made everyone in my group had everything they needed. The hotel was much nicer than many we have stayed in, and the hot breakfast was really good! we had eggs, sausage and gravy and biscuits on one morning and bacon and biscuits another morning. The cinnamon rolls are really good, too. I'd come back with my group any day! Thanks, Alliyah!

Positive: The pillows and bed were comfortable. The coffee in the room was good. The check-in staff was very transparent regarding a large group on the second floor that might be noisy, she offered to move me to a potentially, more quiet room. Negative: The location is on a fairly noisy street at night if your room faces the street.

I am very sound sensitive and the acoustics of this hotel are some of the worst I have ever stayed in. First off the guests seeing here have to be some of the most inconsiderate folks on the face of the planet. Who wakes up at 5:30 in the morning slamming their doors? But add to that it seemed like everyone in this hotel was waking up at 5:30 in the morning because I could hear every single time someone opened and slammed their door and then stomped down the hallway. That's some poor acoustics. From there I could not have the fan running on the AC It's either the AC is on with the fan or the fan is off. Having the fan on could at least drown out some of these poor acoustics but instead I could hear everyone else's AC turn on and off throughout the night as well while feeling the vibrations of the ACs. The only reason I'm staying at this hotel is to be able to sleep. This is one of the worst nights of sleep I have had on record in a while. Every single door I can hear open and slam. The slim part is on the guest for not being easier on the doors but seriously I should not be able to hear everything.

We traveled up to this hotel for the CIF state meet. We were contacted by the GM Rosa Ayala on the day of check-in. She proceeded to tell us that the Room rate that was given upon booking a week ago will not be honored. The current rate was double the original reservation amount. Not only is this price gouging it is fraudulent business practices. Just as we have an obligation to cancel a reservation with ample notice, a hotel must give adequate time and notice if their plan is to change the advertised rate . I have stayed at Holiday Inn's around the world due to comfort and ease. To be treated like this in Clovis and at a rate of $250 per night is absurd. I would like corporate to please contact me so I can let them know the experience we had with their general manager and their night manager Sabrina.

This is our second stay at this location, both times while our son was playing in the Fresno Easter Classic baseball tournament. This is the hotel the team stays at, so we stayed here as well. Special shout out to Leslie at the front desk who took care of our situation- I had called the number listed online and chose the option to make my reservation about two months prior to out trip. I left the confirmation number at work. When we got there, Leslie could not find my reservation. Being a tournament weekend I panicked, but Leslie got us a room no problem. I later went back and asked if she could find my original reservation using the card I used to reserve it, which she could. She was able to cancel that reservation which the booking line had put under a different name. She suggested that anytime making a reservation to select the option to speak with front desk and do it that way. Our room was amazing. It was a king sized bed with a sofa and two TV's. The bed was a little firm yet still comfortable- my husband slept like a baby which he never does at hotels. The shower head was AMAZING.....I am looking for one like it for home. Perfect water pressure, and steady massage.Breakfast was options were satisfactory for me- eggs, bacon and sausage every morning, as well as biscuits and gravy and an omelet some mornings. I think a hash brown or potato option would be nice. I even had oatmeal one morning. Other options were cereal, pancakes, yogurt, toast, bagels, croissants and the most amazing smelling cinnamon rolls, which I missed out on. My husband enjoyed the small gym each morning, my son likewise used it and also the hot tub and pool. Location is great, Walmart just down the street, as well as Burlington, Ross, Marshall's, At Home, plenty of places to eat- Robles Taquerìa across the street HIGHLY RECOMMENDED-, and just off the 41 off ramp. Very highly recommended if you're staying in the area.

So Leslie was awesome at the front.👍. Spa was heated, which was better than my last IHG visit, where it was air temp. On the road in IHG’s @4 nights per week, and one helpful thing would to have a top freezer in the fridge for our cooler ice packs. Good location for the Central CA traveler!
