Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clifton Park, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Clifton Park - 18 Old Rte 9, USA

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Clifton Park was largely positive and very enjoyable. The hotel excels in several key areas that make it a great choice for travelers. Firstly, the cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately set a comfortable and welcoming tone for my stay. The staff at this location deserve special mention. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Whether it was a quick check-in, providing local recommendations, or addressing any requests, their professionalism and kindness stood out. Another highlight was the breakfast. The variety and quality of the offerings were impressive, with a good mix of hot and cold options. It was a great way to start the day, and the dining area was clean and well-organized. However, there was one notable downside: the absence of a safe in the rooms to store valuables. This omission was inconvenient and somewhat concerning, especially for those traveling with important documents or expensive items. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clifton Park is a solid choice with its cleanliness, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. The lack of in-room safes is a drawback, but it doesn’t overshadow the many positive aspects of this hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again.

This is absolutely the best, not only Holiday Inn, but hotel I've stayed in a long time. The staff is so caring, knowledgeable and really outstanding. Among others, Hayleigh, the front desk supervisor, was truly amazing. As an IHG Rewards Platinum Member for decades, I travel constantly, so appreciate my one week stay at this fantastic Holiday Inn Express in Clifton Park NY. It is so close to everything in Saratoga, the breakfast was delicious and incredible, my room and everything was spotlessly clean. The indoor heated pool is really nice! Free parking as well, Wi-Fi perfect also. In addition, the following lovely staff, should be also praised, Mallory, Kirsten, Mike and Joe. Take it from Professor Jan, long time IHG traveler, you must make your next reservation here!!

Greeted by friendly girl at check in. Given goodies as well. Room was great. Only issue was connecting room was blaring a TV or the alarm from 3a to like 5a. Called front desk. They said they’d take care of it. And it finally got quiet at 5a. So either they took care of it or those people finally went to sleep. We were traveling. So not getting a lot of sleep was disappointing.

We stayed two days as part of the volleyball tourney with my daughter. The place was clean, well maintained, and the breakfast was run like a clock: the girls had to be on the court by 7am, and Marie (the person who runs breakfast) was here at 5:30am and made sure that girls were all set. Marie ran like a clock: she was very welcoming, the food was great, the place was clean

Rooms were clean and the front desk personnel were very friendly. Only 4 stars due to two things. The shower curtains are too long and you end up showering with a wet sheet. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30AM to try and clean. Checkout is at 10, let the man sleep!

Tiny indoor pool, complementary breakfast left much to be desired. Nice hotel, horrible management. Stay was booked for 37 days and on the third day I was put out for them “overbooking” . WITH NO NOTICE AT THAT! Never got put out of a hotel for ppl that booked after me! Came all the way VA and the total for room was over 6k . They said they couldn’t call me because they didn’t have my number but they had my name,number, and license plate number from day I checked in. The Gm didn’t believe my dog was a service dog and grilled me about the service she provided ( I don’t have to release that information) and told me well you’re going to have to pay for her, but that’s a lie! Offered the letter from my doctor, but he didn’t care to read it. I called corporate on him they contacted the hotel and they were supposed to be reaching out to fix the problem and next day I was out of the hotel..

We stayed at this hotel for a softball tournament. The rooms were large and clean, and the staff was pretty friendly. The hotel itself does not have a backup generator, the power went out due to weather and was out for a few hours. Unfortunately a few hours after check-in one of the teenage female players from our team was accidentally given key cards to the room we had already checked into. Much to my surprise the privacy of my room was compromised, and could have been a very embarrassing encounter. Not sure how duplicate keys would be given, but based off the issues we had with the outdated key programming system (keys kept having to be reprogrammed) I’m not surprised.

Clean and spacious but the location is absolutely perfect. One mile away is the Clifton mall and several clusters of shopping centers were tons of food choices and shopping - it’s also near a movie theater plus it’s right near route 87 entrance!
