Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cherry Hills, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Omaha - 6939 N 102nd Cir, USA

The staff was extremely friendly at this location however it would have been nice to be told that they were doing a lot of construction and it was extremely noisy during my entire. Saturday night they didn't stop working til nearly 7 pm! There was so much dust in the hallways and even the elevator that I had to check out early. I really like staying at IHG hotels when traveling but this left a very sour taste in my mouth!

Our room was clean & very comfortable. Breakfast was good & breakfast area was clean. I did feel like there could have been better attention to some detail cleaning in the hotel lobby area. There were cigarette butts outside front door. One day from morning to night there was dried coffee drips from lobby to elevator all day & night, should have been noticed & cleaned. Upon checking in after long drive the first place I need is lobby bathroom, it was unusable with one toilet possibly stopped up. Second evening on our way to the room the elevator area had black tire treads imprinted on the floor. Again, this area appeared to be overlooked giving a bad impression as to the cleanliness of the hotel. The remodel was continuing, as a customer it would make it more acceptable if the little details were taken care of in the completed areas before moving on to remodel other areas. Example, broken tiles in elevator, strips of wallpaper not cut properly and small pieces still hanging off, trim placed around baseboard area. Removing the old furniture from the sight of occupants (right in front is not a good place) & grassy areas were un-kept. The construction workers tracked thru the lobby & breakfast area causing dirty floors, could they not just use door at end and be sure mud & dirt is not tracked in to full public areas? Again, our stay was not as bad as these things make it sound, the important things such as our room and it cleanliness and functionality was fine. If I had not stayed at several IHG properties this would not have left me with the same impression previous visits to IHG properties have. Just pay a little more attention to details. *Italian restaurant in strip center almost in same parking lot was very good.

The new furniture has great functionality. Comfortable beds. I do prefer a duvet. Much cleaner and simple. The comforter just needs a duvet. I also like the large fixed bottles.(makes so much more sense)

We were not aware the hotel was under major construction when we booked our room. Debris was throughout the hotel. (Outside at the entrance, inside the lobby, in the hallways, etc) Upon checking in, we received our room cards. We went to our room, placed the card into the slot, walked into the room, to see people were already inside, and in bed. Back to the lobby to let them be aware of the embarrassing incident only to be told "the system stated it is empty". No apology.... No sorry for the embarrassment. Not taking any accountability concerned me. Getting another room, specifically requesting double beds, asking the person to go to the room and make sure it is not occupied. Upon entering the room, there was only a king bed. Back to the front desk, explaining we requested a double bed, as in our initial reservation. Finally, after 45 minutes (from arrival time) we were in a room with 2 queen size beds. After a long day of traveling, wanting to get into a room, shower and relax. This wasn't a way to end my day.

The rooms were in good working order, the beds were comfortable and hallway noise is well controlled. The curtains keep out the light very well. I almost overslept! The bathroom is spacious, clean and decent water pressure!.

The lady at the front desk was super nice and was probably the best part of the entire stay. We had a jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was nice and so was the shower. However, the bed was hard as a rock. And so was the couch. And i don’t even have words for the pull out couch. Which if you’re just using the hotel as a place to sleep and not relax then it’s fine. The pool door would not work with our key and so we had to wait for the front desk person to try and get in and her key wouldn’t work either. When we finally got in we were excited to swim but the water was ice cold. And we lasted maybe 5 minutes and went back to our room. Breakfast was good with a good selection. The room was clean and had everything we needed. I’d probably stay again if they got comfier beds it just wasn’t the relaxing trip it was spose to be

This staff was very well prepared. Rooms were well groomed and cleaned. Front desk greeted me on arrival and had my keys ready. Checkout was a breeze and had my receipt when I woke. Not a lot of vegan options so I didn’t partake in breakfast.

New renovated roommate, lovely, BUT no lighting in the sofa seating area, what a bummer, too dark to read or do puzzle work. Night light by easy chair to far away to do any good. Sure not very relaxing. But this location is very near our destination so will probably stay there again. Sure wish it had adequate lighting in the sofa area
