Holiday Inn Express & Suites Central Omaha, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Omaha - 8736 W Dodge Rd, USA

I’ve stayed here twice - once in July 2023 and once in July 2024. My first visit was much better. The hotel has an indoor pool, so it always has that “indoor pool smell,” but this summer when we stayed, there was an odd smell all over the lobby area and elevators. I can’t put my finger on what it was but it was not really pleasant. Could not locate the ice machine, I think there must not be one on every floor. *on the bright side* the continental breakfast is phenomenally good. The omelets are super tasty and there is a great variety of options.

Positive: The fast knowledgeable staff at check in. The rooms were fresh and clean. Slept very well. The hot breakfast was outstanding. The pool area was clean and comfortable. Negative: Nothing

Pool was filled by what seemed like an entire family get-together Saturday night so we couldn't swim, morning concierge Sunday was very rude... but room was comfortable and clean. Water pressure was great water was hot.

It was a great stay at this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bed was perfect. The only negative was that the breakfast on Friday wasn't that great. On Saturday it was good though.

Stayed here one night on a Sunday in May of 2024.||Cons: Parking lot is small. No left turn into or out of the property due to a median in the road. The guy who checked us in lacked friendliness and/or enthusiasm for the job. Our room never got as cold as we wanted it, made for a rough night of sleep.||Pros: Room was clean, shower pressure was good. Continental breakfast was decent.

Positive: We arrived and our bed smelled of urine, so we were moved into another room. That room smelled strongly of mildew, but the bed was clean, so we stayed. Negative: The bed in our first room smelled like urine. Our second room that we moved into smell strongly of mildew. After a while we got used to the odor. The breakfast the next day was extremely stale. It was just OK. We will not be staying there again.

We chose this place because it was close to family. They offered cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the room was spotless. Whitney let us use the pool that closes at 10 pm until 10 45. My sister got stuck in the elevator. but thats fine. I will stay here again definetly

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and free breakfast. Parking was free aswell. Centrally located near restaurants and retail stores. Fair price for location and amenities. I would stay here again next time I'm in town.
