Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cape Girardeau I-55, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Cape Girardeau - 3253 William St, USA

We have stayed at Holiday Inns/Express all over the country, but the Cape Girardeau location is the nicest one we have ever seen. So bright, clean and the design of the lobby was so lovely. Common spaces were spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Our King Room was large and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly from the moment we arrived. If you are anywhere near this location... make a point to stay here

We were recently in Cape Girardeau for Smokin' Bros "When Pigs Fly" event at the Show Me Center, an indoor BBQ competition and fundraiser. The temperatures outside were well below freezing and even dropping to subzero temperatures. However, our hotel and room were warm and snuggly and gave you the vibe of coming home to Mama's where warm cookies and milk and coffee awaited you. The staff was great and the rooms were large. A large room with plenty of space to spread out. A great stay for us.

This hotel is very effectively managed. It is clean and comfortable. The staff really seems to enjoy working there. They were very accommodating. I mostly dealt with Susan at the front desk. She was efficient and professional while also being friendly and warm. She was there at my check-in and also for my departure.

My wife and I had a business meeting we attended, and stayed one night at this location. Staff was excellent, prompt and attentive. Had an umbrella to provide as it was raining, Public areas were very clean, breakfast was wonderful, on time and fully stocked from start to finish with healthy and hearty options. Dining room served as a nice "lounge" to visit with family that was local to the area in the evening, and parking area was well lit all around providing for a sense of security. Only flaw noted was bathroom had one roll on the double roll toilet paper dispenser that was nearly empty and the soap dish for a soap bar in the shower had residue in it. There are pump dispenser on the wall with Dove products that were very nice according to my wife. Easy check in and check out. Will definitely use this location again in the future.

Everything was as expected from a popular chained hotel but the breakfast eggs tasted peculiar. I had a good experience and I’d return again. Factor the egg,… the breakfast was descent and warm. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Shower was clean and the bathroom was in good shape.

We were incredibly impressed! The room was so clean and bright! They have DOVE hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided in full size pumps in the bathroom (a huge step up from the typical hotel toiletries!!) |Extra towels/wash clothes without even having to ask. Breakfast was really good, better than most-with eggs and sausage, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy etc. We stay at a lot of hotels/casino hotels even, and we found this to be more pleasant, accomodating, clean, spacious, and safer than most hotels we have been to! However, we cannot say enough about the staff- Karla the GM, went above and beyond for us, and anyone we spoke to at the front desk were so helpful and kind and welcoming as we came and went for a family wedding weekend. When I walked in the front door Leah was very pleasant and welcoming, Like she knew me! That was a plus from the start. The experience was great from that point forward, and I saw Leah when I returned from dinner that evening. I explained that I had stayed in 5 different Holiday Inn's over the past 3 weeks and this was my number one stay... This Cape Girardeau location is one of my favorites, mainly because of the fourth floor restriction and I was on the fourth floor! I am aware that it is a team effort to keep a hotel this nice but Leah is the face of the business when I arrive and she deserves a commendation!

would highly recommend this property. Easy access from interstate. Close to good restaurants. Breakfast good! Good wi-fi, beds very nice. No outside noise! Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again if in the area.
