Holiday Inn Express & Suites Burlington - Mount Holly, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Westampton - 18 Western Dr, USA

As an IHG longtime member, I was truly disappointed with our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. I travel 3 or 4 times a year that require an overnight stay, and I have never had an experience like the one we had here. Please see the pictures to help paint the picture of the condition of the hotel and note the date of this post, because when I told the front desk about the issues, she simple said that the whole hotel will be going through an upgrade. That being said, I'd bypass this hotel until that is done. Our light in the bathroom, room 313, was hanging by the wires. The exhaust fan in the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in weeks, possibly months. The room air-conditioning unit was falling off the wall. The curtain rod was pulled out of the wall, and there was trash stuffed into a hole in the wall from a previous occupant. Besides those issues so much was marked "out of order". The juice machine for breakfast, the pool, and most of the ice machines. Again, I truly hope the lady at the front desk was truthful when she said that the whole hotel is being remodeled, because it DESPERATELY needs it!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for a family reunion, booking four rooms in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was far below the standard I expected. Each room we were assigned was in unacceptable condition. The most glaring issue was the pervasive odor in every room, which made the stay uncomfortable from the outset. Additionally, the showers were in a deplorable state—clearly in need of a thorough cleaning and maintenance. The lack of basic amenities further compounded our frustration. Several rooms were missing chairs for the desks, and the chairs that were provided in other rooms were not fit for use, making it difficult to work or even relax properly. I will be requesting a full refund and complimentary stays to compensate for the inconvenience experienced. This was far from the quality I anticipated from a Holiday Inn Express and was a significant letdown. I hope that the management takes prompt action to address these issues.

This place is perfect, if you want to feel what it's like in a murder's house. The door and room was FILTHY! There were markings on the walls, the cleaners don't clean the room everyday, and when they do they half-way clean it. The tub was stained from an old mat, and the bath faucet looked disgusting. And the smell in the room was vile, my nostrils closed up as soon as I entered the room, it smelt like dog pee. Low staffed. Staff was nice though. This experience was so bad, I wanted to give this hotel a ZERO, but since it's not possible so I give it a one. To anyone wanting to come here, don't. Unless you're desperate.

Check-in was smooth. Went downhill from there. My shoes stuck to the floor in the elevator and anywhere that wasn’t carpeted, bathroom included. Then I tried to wash my hands but the water just barely trickles over the edge of the counter and runs down the back of the sink. Made it near impossible to wash hands or brush teeth. Shower head was covered in mold. When I brought it up, I was told that they are renovating in a few weeks. I usually choose Holiday Inn Express because they are consistent and you know what you’re going to get. This place was a dump, and renovations had nothing to do with it.

Positive: The staff were all very polite. Negative: There was a weird smell. The cleanliness of the overall hotel could be better. There was something white stuck to the headboard of the bed. The shower head was disgusting, and need to be replaced. We had to use the sink just to wash ourselves.

Worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in!! Worth $30 a night if that. Rooms are outdated, but that’s not the dealbreaker. They’re completely unsanitary and disgusting! Stains on the smelly carpets, lights that don’t work, stains on the bedskirts, mold in the bathroom, and scratches on the doors. The breaking point was a booger on the already-stained bedsheets. Didn’t read the reviews here before booking, and we regret paying $175 (w/taxes) to stay here one night. (1 night was all we could stand, checked out and drove to another hotel 20 min away since the Courtyard next door was full)

This was the worst Holiday inn hotel I have ever attempted to stay at. Me and my mom arrived at this hotel yesterday and planned on spending the night in along with my aunt and grandma. It was so horrid. The ceilings had in our room had water stains and the bathroom in our room had cracked title and a cracked door. The couches in the lobby were stained and looked like they thrifted and the hallway smelled terrible and had creaky stairs that felt like they would cave in and collapse. Plus there was water dripping from the side of the building above the side door entrance of the building. As soon as my aunt and grandma met up with us we immediately checked out and checked into the Courtyard Marriott next door which was amazing. I have stayed at so many Holiday inns so I was very disappointed. PLEASE DON’T STAY HERE!!!
