Holiday Inn Express & Suites Burlington, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Burlington - 900 Andis Rd, USA

I look for clean and quiet rooms to fall asleep. Holiday inn never disappoints. The breakfast was ok and the staff are very nice as always. This time we used the pool and it was in good condition.

The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and I loved the "normal" sized pillows. Housekeeping was amazing. We came back to find it was as if we were just checking in and the housekeeper had put one of my books on the center of the pillow. Sounds like nothing but it was a luxury type touch. Bathroom was well stocked with quality products. I especially loved the water pressure in the shower.

We reserved a room at this hotel for a Saturday night so we could be closer to the North Cascades NP. We called on Friday to confirm and to let them know we would be coming in late and to please not assume that we backed out. On Saturday night at 10:20pm, they called me to say that they were overbooked and we therefore did not have a room. I had to s ramble to find alternate accommodations, and had to wake up extra early on Sunday to travel the extra distance due to not being able to find something nearby. While I got my money back through Expedia, when I called Holiday Inn they were unable to offer me any form of good will compensation or future credit in return for highly inconveniencing me. Very very disappointing.

Very nice hotel in a decent location with options nearby for food and entertainment. Staff was very helpful. There are a few mechanical issues that were being addressed. No charging stations for vehicles (if you need one).

Positive: Comfortable beds Negative: Breakfast Sunday am was supposed to go to 10:30. We came down at 9:50 and was told it was ending. As we got food, worker started cleaning up and did not ask us anything about what we needed.

I stay twice for a week each time for job training in Anacortes. Both time the rooms were extremely clean ,comfortable and inviting. The bed were amongst the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel and well as there down pillows. It was apparent they spared no expense on the bedding. The service was very friendly and adminable and want to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The only things I can complain about is that the hot tub was out of order both weeks. The other thing is more of a suggestion rather than a complaint. They start service breakfast at 6am. Myself and a good number of others were leaving at about 5am. It would have been nice if they started breakfast at 5am or put out grab and go options at the very least.

Everything was great! Quite hotel even when busy. Breakfast area was stocked up and clean. Room was clean & beds were extremely comfortable. Pool was clean and decent temperature. The hot tub spa needed to be drained though, looked murky, smelled strong of chlorine and had trash in the bottom, couple of straws & some random bits of floaters. It was early Saturday morning so I imagine it was not the staffs fault for careless hotel stayers that don't clean up after themselves.

I chaperoned a group of students here so we got to experience a wide variety of rooms. Service was great and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The hot breakfast had lots of variety. Items were quickly refilled and there was enough seating to accommodate our large group. One challenge is that the key cards are very sensitive to being demagnetized. Also, windows were left cracked open after cleaning, which makes sense to air out the rooms but it would have been nice to give guests a heads up because not everyone noticed to close the window and those rooms became chilly.
