Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brooksville West, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Brooksville - 14112 Cortez Blvd, USA

We had to make an extra pitstop on the way back from vacation and this Holiday Inn was near the place we needed to be. The hotel is renovating some areas, but that didn't inconvenience us at all. We booked a standard queen double beds room. The beds were very comfortable, with those great Holiday Inn pillows! The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. The spray in this shower was nice and strong which we don't find to be the case in other hotels. The AC cooled the room well and didn't have that damp feeling/smell you get sometimes in hotels-no rug, laminate floors, so that helped with that I believe. They had a nice variety of foods for breakfast, but the packaged cheese danish seemed stale, so stick with the fresh stuff. The entire staff from front desk, breakfast crew and housekeeping were very nice, helpful and friendly. If we were in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again, it was a great overnight experience. Thank you.

Overall, this hotel was a great value. I felt the breakfast could use newer toasters and some more variety. The room felt damp. It wasn't terrible but a dehumidifier would have certainly been welcomed. I would stay here again if it was - like this time - the best value I could find at the time. Public restroom was out of order while we were staying there, due to renovations. At one point, this was a major inconvenience, as one of our family members needed to use the restroom and another was already in our hotel room's bathroom.

Our second time staying here and we enjoyed it again. The hotel is clean, well lit, staffed with friendly and caring people who do a great job. We stay here because it's close to family and everything that we need when we're are here, we came back here because it was such a nice place.

From checking in to checking out our experience was great. At the front desk we were met by Reena who was wonderful, pleasant, helpful and professional. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable and food was prepared and presented by Yanitza. There were many hot and cold choices available to hungry travelers. I would recommend this hotel to all.

The hotel is bit tricky to find and get into the lot, but well worth the effort. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the property was very clean and quiet, even with college sports teams there! The pool has a lift for the disabled, which is wonderful! Comfortable beds that aren't ridiculously high off the ground!

Very nice hotel. Great value for the money. We stayed in the king room. The room was clean & spacious. The bed very comfortable. The linens were top notch. All the surfaces were spotless. It was quiet between the rooms too. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of this Holiday Inn Express was very convenient to a large variety of business, shopping, eateries. The roads were busy at times but pretty much the norm for Fl. We were impressed with signage made the hotel easy to enter/exit. Parking was very good. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning when the need requires.

Positive: The room was great! Loved the pool and the cleaning staff and breakfast attendants were exceptionally amazing! I will definitely be staying at that location again! Negative: The construction was a bit bothersome only because it was so close to our room that we would be rerouted just to get to our room. Not really to big of a deal just a little inconvenient. Also, for what ever reason our room card kept getting deactivated.
