We have tried other hotels in the Belleville area but always end up back here. Was renovated last year so it's bright and cheery! Front desk greeted us kindly and friendly. We have a good size room with a king bed, kitchen sink, microwave and fridge. This is the perfect room that suits our needs. Ample parking available. Breakfast included: sausage, eggs, bagels, bread, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal. Dining area was very clean! I will continue booking here because I am confident it will remain clean and a great hotel to stay at!

Our stay was a terrible experience for my family and me. We were there for two nights, and from the very first night, we encountered major problems. The bathroom flooded due to plumbing issues, so we requested a room change for hygienic reasons, which was granted. Unfortunately, things only got worse. The new room reeked of smoke, making it unbearable, but we were too exhausted to ask for another switch late at night. We tried to sleep despite the smell and woke up to the same overwhelming odor the next morning. When we asked for another room, our request was denied. As the day went on, we noticed bumps on our skin, which became more prominent after we checked out and realized they were bed bug bites. We suspect the smoke smell was from bed bug repellent. Allowing us to stay in a room with such chemicals for two nights shows poor customer service and concern for guests' well-being. I would not recommend staying at this location, and this experience has certainly discouraged us from ever considering a Holiday Inn again.

I only stayed 2 nights, thankfully. The window in my room seemed like the latch was broken, so there was a lot of road noise. They need to perform a more detailed cleaning, after arriving and walking around in the room barefoot my baby’s feet were BLACK. We asked for the floor to be cleaned but they didn’t, only offered last minute the night before we were leaving. It doesn’t look like they cleaned the bathroom very well either, the shower could use more attention. I’m pretty disappointed with cleanliness considering how much I paid for 2 nights. The extra bedding for the pull out couch was filthy, it had food all over it, lipstick smeared on the sheet and the blanket looked like someone peed on it as soon as I pulled it out of the bag. Thankfully they did replace those in a timely manner. Another thing that bothered me is that they have complimentary Dove products, but as someone who uses Dove religiously I know for a fact that body lotion was not the same lotion as labeled. How do I just trust what’s in that bottle? Funny that they leave a cute little card that says “tip your housekeeper!” Yeah well here’s your tip: clean EVERYTHING, THOROUGHLY. The breakfast was delicious though so that alone earned the second star. I will make sure to avoid this particular location for my next stay in this area.

We had an excellent time here I reserved three rooms and the lady that checked me in had already put them next to each other which was very nice. The pool area was clean and breakfast was delicious.

Really nice place to stay. I was passing through Detroit and decided to stop here for an evening. The facility is well kept. My room was clean and comfortable. The Pool area is nice and the hot breakfast was nice as well. My only real complaint is "Hot Tub" is pretty lame. There are no jets on the tub. It's a small pool with warm water. I would hardly call that a hot tub. Anyway, besides that, it was a nice stay at a decent price. I would stay here again.

Called months in advance for a handicap room with two beds and a roll in shower because I am in a wheelchair. Spoke to three different people to be sure I was getting what I needed. There were three of us, so needed two beds. Got there, went to the room, couldn't get to the shower which was a step in, there were no handrails for the toilet and it was a very tight room, hard to navigate. Went back to the desk, explained it wouldn't work, sent us to a suite with more room but same bathroom situation and the toilet was low. Went back to the desk, again explaining the situation. They said I could use the pool locker room shower. It also had a step in. I am in a wheelchair, another person had a broken heal and was on crutches, the driver was recovering from a knee injury. The only roll in room with handrails was a single king-size bed. They offered a folding bed. It stuck out so far I couldn't get to the other bed. Had to place the mattress on the floor and part way under the bed to make it work. Found out we would have been charged extra for the suite. The bed was so high I nearly fell between it and my chair. I am told the hotel is ADA compliant. I guess, for deaf and blind folks. Very, very hurt and disappointed. I am a member too! Maybe not after this experience.

I was traveling with my daughter and to two young granddaughters. We arrived for one night and the next day were meeting my son and his who was flying in. The hotel shuttled us not only back and forth to the airport but to restaurants in the area and let us stay in the room for a late check out so we wouldn’t be sitting on the curb in the heat waiting. They were fabulous!

These scumbags charge $75 non refundable fee to bring your dog. That is not listed on hotels dot com, glad I called before I booked. I don't do business with price gougers. They are preying on people who travel with animals. If you're a pet owner that travels with your dog I highly recommend boycotting all holiday inns.
