WOW! How to start this off, I have been a Hilton only member for years. I came into town for a tournament this past weekend. These rooms are large and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. No issues with humidity in rooms. Rooms were clean. Air works great. I checked the filters to the P-TAC unit and it’s clean!!! How often are air filters inspected. These people are on top of it. Yes, breakfast was closed for repairs. Only eggs, bacon etc. still had a hot breakfast option for pancakes. I was advised of this upon arrival. All staff was friendly and catering. I did leave behind articles and called that they are holding at the front desk. Let’s just say, this stay may have me staying at holiday inn more often. Great job!!!

I was pleasantly surprised. The public areas and rooms are well kept and updated. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly at all touch points (front desk housekeepers and especially the breakfast attendant) The only minor issue was the room A/C was a little loud for me.

I would have to say I agree with others regarding the front desk service by Kat. I stay at this hotel repeatedly for business travel. They have always over the past five years had wonderful people at the front desk, friendly, accommodating, and kind. She is extremely rude, not helpful, and pushes you off as fast as she can. I have never asked to speak to a manager in the five years. When I asked to speak to one she told me she was the Manager. She will not let you speak to anybody higher than herself so good luck if you have an issue. For this reason, the main rating is a one. I have heard others complain about her, and supposedly she has been spoken with however nothing has changed, at least put somebody in the front that is warm and welcoming! What I can say is is kept clean, rooms are always tidy AC is always cold and the rest of the staff is wonderful! The lady at breakfast is great. She always smiles and is always in a good mood.

I had a very quiet and nice stay for 2 nights. The room was clean, and the ac made the room feel like the Arctic. The front desk person, Kat, was very helpful and nice. I stopped by and spoke with her every time I left or came back. I forgot a hat and got sunburned on my head, and she ran to the office and got burn relief med for me to try out. If I have to travel back to Bartow, I would definitely stay again just because of how nice she was.

No lobby area to visit. The rooms were fine and good service, but the lobby area is closed off after breakfast. So if you want to hang out and visit in the lobby area, find a different hotel. I've never stayed at a hotel that did this.

I've stayed in countless hotels around the world. I remember a hotel in Tennessee where the hotel employees all treated me like I was president of the world. In Orlando, there's a hotel that makes you feel like you're the only guest staying there (yet they were slammed busy in Orlando). This Holiday inn jus had a handful of employees that were just chatting with each other about their personal opinions, not at all about how to do a better job. This Holiday Inn was the extreme opposite of that awesome hotel in Tennessee and Orlando. If you pay more than $75 per night at this Holiday inn, then I believe you overpaid big time.

No free hot breakfast. Oven is down for the past two weeks. Just cold cereal and coffee. There is a pancake machine that makes horrible pancakes. Hotel doesn’t seem to care that the oven has been down for weeks. At least that is what I was told. False advertising.

Very quiet stay, however, the carpets are filthy in the rooms. The rooms are a bit musty smelling, but that's not unusual in Florida. Bathroom was very clean and rooms are well stocked with necessities. Beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of a green area outside.
