My family and I stayed the weekend here and our experience was flawless. Barbie was the night staff. She went above and beyond with kindness. Even offering her own personal stash of chocolate when I had a sweet tooth late at night. On check out day, there was a bad storm going on. The front desk granted an hour check out delay. We appreciated the kind staff and the clean room. The breakfast was great with many options. I'd stay here again.
Worst ever experience. I am sharing some photographs. We had it reserved and paid two queen with sofa bed. When we reached, our room was given to someone else and we are asked to accommodate in a room that has broken shower, leaky ceiling and stained carpet. My wife and daughters were put in a room without AC and shower. Which later was changed because I challenged. Manager on call won't talk to me on phone to solve issues. He kept pushing front desk and refused to talk to me. Wasted 350$ for two nights
Taj & Starr welcomed me with open arms. There customer service was above and beyond. It's so refreshing to be greeted with a smile, a hello and being acknowledged as a IHG Member. On top of that my room had actual cable with, can you believe it, a TV Guide. Now a day, that's a luxury, when it should be common with how much we pay for hotels on our business travels. Thanks for treating us like family. Hopefully Management will acknowledge these two.
Oh my word I think this is the worst stay we have ever had. Rooms were hot and muggy when we walked in, and smelled horrible. Even after we turned on the AC that stench never went away. It was nauseating. Room was extremely muggy. Dirty. Mini fridge was broken, our sandwich food went bad overnight. No blankets for the very stained and deformed sleeper sofa. Only 2 towels for 5 guests checking in. We used our points on this and requested getting them refunded. This hotel shouldn't even be part of IHG.
The Hotel and Room were clean, the staff were friendly. I honestly wouldn’t have had any issues and would have highly recommended it. However, around 3am 10+ vehicles had our windows smashed and were broken into. They did call the police and had reports ready for us when we approached them with the situation. They know our car info from checking in. No one bothered to say anything. How did 10 cars get broken into before someone finally noticed and called the police?! All we got was a “sorry”. I do understand that it wasn’t their fault. We were smart enough not to leave anything valuable in the car so other than a $400 window… After asking more questions we were told this is not the first time this has happened?! Why are there no signs? No warnings?! Why do they not have better security?! The hotel and the staff are very nice. BEWARE of leaving your car unattended! I don’t want to leave a negative review against the hotel but I do want people to be warned and vacations or trips not to be ruined.
My husband and I tried to stay here one night, and it was interesting. The exterior was littered with cigarette butts, and there were folks chainsmoking directly outside the main door so that the odor permeated the lobby. The young lady working the desk was very attentive and polite. We headed to the assigned room, and immediately turned on every light to inspect for cleanliness before settling in. The pillow covers were stained and had a sebum smell, there were marks on the duvet that looked like it had been spot cleaned but not washed, smudges on the night stands, and the chaise had at least 4 mysterious white stains covering it. The bathroom looked OK. After that failed visual inspection, we immediately went back to the lobby to ask for a refund. The kind woman asked if we wanted another room, but we had seen enough at this point. We were supposed to receive a phone call from management within 3 days, but never did. My husband had to call about a week later to check the status of his refund, only to be told that there was no record of the sale, despite his account being charged and never refunded. He was then told someone from management would contact him, and that never happened either. All in all, we would not stay here. We can't recommend anyone else stay here. It's clear that the management team should take some notes from the concierge on how customer service works...and clean the place.
My family and I are always using IHG and holiday inn in particular. Always love the experience though this time was not as happy camper as we are accustomed. First our room do not have black out curtain. I reported to the desk but there was no available room to transfer and she promised to send us the maintenance guy to check it out. Evening Comes nothing happens so I had to improvise so can at least sleep in comfortably. 2nd, the pull-out couch do not have readily available sheets and stuff so when I try to ask for one they said nothing is available as all of the extras are gone. How can that be tho. Normally there are mattress covers and sheets readily available in the room already. Anyways, it was quite unpleasant experience here.
After booking a two bedroom room they changed us to a single bed without any compensation for the inconvenience. Rooms had an odor and looked worn. Bathroom was tiny. Conveniently located. Would not highly recommend.
