Best hotel stay on our roadtrip. Needed to stay here while the weather improved and it fit our purpose perfectly. Easy to relax here with the pool, hot tub excellent Wi-Fi and rooms. The room was big enough with the furniture to be able to relax in. We were a party of 4 with 2 rooms and we were able to gather in each others rooms comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and had a choice of pillows able to suit individual needs.
Unfortunately the location was not near many restaurant choices. Being on motorcycles and stopping here for weather meant we had to walk into the town center.
Nice place to use as home-base for our visit to the area. (Big Bend) Don't skip checking out downtown Alpine shops. It was a great place to visit. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Breakfast was good and had variety. Just what we needed
I was working in the area and needed a place to stay. I have been staying at this hotel for years. They maintain quality service. This hotel has very pleasant staff members. My room was ready and the management antiapated one of my needs. They offered prearranged options for my choice. That was a great help.
We’ve stayed in a lot of holiday inns over the years and this was one of the best ones. The room was spacious and d comfortable. No weird mold or lingering smoke smells. The breakfast area was nice and the common areas clean. |Our room was clean and the bed was great. Our shower was very slow to drain but it didn’t bother me that much. Overall a great stay if you’re visiting Davis Mountains or Big Bend area
very nice one night stay! first hotel out of 5 I’ve stayed at in the last year that had sheets all set for the pullout couch. everyone was friendly and they had a nice breakfast spread. even had a cute little snack bag for us in the room. perfect stay before heading to big bend
Check in was long due to only one staff member working the front desk and had a line of six people waiting to check in. The room was clean with good amenities. The key reader on the room door was faulty and had to insert the key several times before it would unlock the door. The only issue I had with the room was the extremely low toilet. It was a little uncomfortable using that low sitting toilet. Other than that I had a nice and quiet stay and would definitely stay there again.
The location is good, the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was ok, and the coffee was very good. The tiles in the bathroom were quite uneven, and the toilet made some random glugging noises, perhaps poor venting? But overall, it was a good stay, and I would stay again.
Hotel personnel were friendly and competent. The room and public spaces were very clean. A reception, with free snacks and drinks, was held in the evening. Breakfast offered both standard as well as healthy options. Rate was very reasonable. It is understandable why the hotel has won many awards.

This is a great little museum located on the campus of Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. It tells the story of the Big Bend region and those who first came here from Europe. There are some great prehistoric artifacts and beautiful artwork
Had a fantastic lunch on our way through Alpine. The service was great and food was yummy. Definitely a wonderful experience. We can vouch for the artichoke dip, meatball sub, margarita pizza, and Caesar salad...all great!
Fine dining in Alpine! Rustic Texas
Country vibe. Really cute spot for a nice dinner date while we were visiting Alpine for the weekend. I really enjoyed my Chicken Fried Chicken and my partner really enjoyed his stuffed Poblano. The bread appetizer
