Holiday Inn DFW Airport South, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Fort Worth - 14320 Center Station Dr, USA

Don’t stay at this hotel! We stayed one night, and was told check out is at noon. I’m a Diamond Elite with IHG, and this is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in 2024! At 10:00 am while we were still in the room, an employee walked in our room without knocking. The employee didn’t speak English, he went into the bathroom and bedroom to retrieve used towels and sheets. I informed front desk on Sunday upon check out to have manager of hotel to call me. I called Monday and left another message, and has of Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 6:00 pm, received no call! Also the female at front desk on Sunday morning, was rude, and very unprofessional. She treated us like trash and not what I expected from IHG property! I wasn’t going to post a review, or file a complaint with IHG, but to the General Manager you must don’t care! Stay away from this location and I don’t recommend!

Would like to thank the lovely ladies at the check-in counter for helping my husband and I when our flight home was delayed at the airport and we were provided these accommodations. They were so helpful and accommodating with late checkout, the free shuttle and suggesting a great place for breakfast. We were not in the best mood as we just wanted to get home. The hotel bed was also very comfy. I would recommend this hotel when needed. Thank you again.

I can't begin to say anything about my stay. I'm handicapped and in a wheelchair. I asked for a handicapped room. The only thing they did that they thought made a room handicapped is put in grap bars. Yet the toilet was so low I couldn't get off without help from my husband. This issue caused severe pain in my back. I ended up in the ER every day to get morphine to help get my pain manageable I was there for a conference. I was unable to attend due to the pain. When we called the front desk, they had nothing to say about it. My bill for a 4 night stay was $1227.91.

Nice, clean rooms. Great a/c!! The room is a nice size. The beds are super comfy!The only drawback was the shower. I'm not sure what was going on with the shower head, but the water was going all directions but down. Even out of the shower. The best breakfast I've had at a hotel in a very long time!! Fresh cut fruit, 2 kinds of REAL eggs, REAL BACON & SAUSAGE, oatmeal, yougart, french toast, mini waffles, and fried potatoes. (+more) And really good coffee!

This was the worst experience I have had in some time. I waited over an hour for the shuttle from the airport. I had multiple conversations with Rafael who told me it was there and it will be this time or that. When I finally made it, I was assigned to a room that had someone in it. Go get another room and the next one had very wet carpet and strong chemical smell. Third time finally a room to stay in. Last night of the stay, the room key did not work. Throughout the entire time, not once did I get an apology or offer to compensate me for my troubles.

Just an update to the end of my stay: really hope I never have to be here again. Will gladly pay out of pocket to avoid if if company puts me here. This is in the top 5 of bad hotels I've stayed at in my life. In the last year and a half, I've stayed at over 30 hotels for my job and during that time frame this wins #1 for the most garbage shambles establishment I've had the misfortune of staying at. So here are my issues so far.....the fridge is smaller than the microwave. That's not supposed to be a joke but it kind of sounds like one. But it doesn't matter because the fridge doesn't work anyways. And despite the number of times I stop at the desk and ask for a new one and they tell me that they'll bring one up, the never do. Then there's the AC unit, which also doesn't work. bought a camp thermometer just to check the temperature and it's averaging 76 here in early March. I need to iron my blothes while I'm here for the next week and could use an ironing board since the one they provided was used in a wrestling match. Still after 3 days, I can't get one from them so I just use the bed to iron. The fact that the last 2 nights security/ police or whoever as escorted tenants out of the rooms at night after thye've decided to do their best barrio fabuloso impressions has made sleeping an adventure. And finally, they only run 1 elevator at a time. Both work, I even asked about it. But they only run one at a time except for around 7am. Get ready to wait in the lobby while one elevator runs and many, many other people also wait with you if it's not their version of rush hour. Save yourself these frustrations. I'm checking out today and will make it a point not to let me company book me or anyone else in this garbage dump. Also, the shuttle ranges from 20 minutes (not bad) to 80 minutes. I got an Uber but my buddy was determined to wait.

Stay away if you’re looking for a good night sleep with basic customer service. We got stuck here on a layover. They put us in the wrong room, there were cockroaches in the hallway and that wasn’t the bad part. There was a party in this cheap, thin walled little banquet room with loud bass music blasting throughout the hotel, literally rattling the walls until midnight! We asked someone at the counter when the party would end and the girl working, Chelese Smith was totally rude and dismissive and as I was speaking to her she just walked away and a few minutes later a manager came out. We asked if we could be switched to a room on a higher floor and the manager, Nick Fernandez, told us that we should go to a different hotel if we didn’t like it. He was rude, incompetent and seemed to be under the influence of something. I’ve never been treated so poorly as a customer anywhere, ever. Stay away.

This is a very clean and well run Holiday Inn. The room was clean and had everything needed. The restaurant is top notch, with great service and very good food.
