Holiday Inn Atlanta/Roswell, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (478)
I recently stayed at your hotel. I stayed 2-4 Aug 3 it was a nice hotel, clean, and staff was nice.
I was there because my daughter was having a baby. It was long days helping with labor. She ended up having to have an emergency C-section. So getting back to the hotel was important for me to sleep especially the last day because I had a long drive home.
Each nigh i was there, there was an event going on till like 2am. The music sounded like it was right under my room. When i asked to move i was told all rooms were booked. So I had no options.
To add to the problem I had no hot water. I called the front desk and they said they'd call maintenance. I requested a late checknout and waited till the last min but Noone came.
As I checked out, I told them no one ever came. They told me they fixed the problem elsewhere and didn't need to come to the room. But I never knew that because they didn't call me amd let me know.
Also the breakfast was very slim. The eggs were so dried out I could hardly get it out the pan. When I finally found someone to ask for some more fresher eggs, staff told me they would replace with fresh when those eggs are gone. Really everything looked like it had been sitting in the pans for many hours. It was just not a very relaxing at all. And I didn't feel like anyone was gonna try and help me find any solution.
Absolutely horrific business practice. My brother in law, a diamond member, booked me a room. They not only wouldn't let me check in, but kept referring to the owners policy and gave a long drawn out story as to the why behind the policy. We had to contact my BIL, from out of state and he had to fill out documents before they would let me in.
I asked for more towels and the guy said he could give me one. It's a policy. Lots of unfriendly policies at this hotel. Stay somewhere else. Definitely not worth the hassle.
This hotel is in a great location! However the rooms are very dark, there is mold along the floors around the air conditioner, the fixtures in the bathroom were broken and wobbly, the door to the adjoining room didn’t lock (lock was broken) so I had to push furniture against it so the person in the room next to me couldn’t come in on me and my room was right by the stairs so I heard the doors slamming all hours of the night and couldn’t get any rest! The beds are super comfy though! The hall smelled like marijuana, the side door doesn’t lock so anyone off the streets can come into the hotel at anytime and it was just loud all night. Not one of the best Holiday Inns I’ve stayed at. However service was good.
Positive: The property is well maintained. Location is excellent. Housekeeping was good. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the climate control for this room worked well and was quiet. Room overlooking the pool was nice. Negative: There are no negatives I could comment on for my stay at this location. Would definitely stay here again. Negative: ""
My niece and I traveled from Connecticut 18 hours and we were so tired. The service we received was amazing and they upgraded our rooms for free. Also they told me check in was at 3pm but they let us in when the room was done at 12pm. I've never had such great service when it came to hotels until now. Luis and Robin were so kind to us and I greatly appreciate the both of them. I'll definitely be back just because I know I'll be in great hands. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The worst experience I've ever had with Holiday Inn. Front desk is so arrogant .refused to book me the room just because I asked politely if they have USB ports in the rooms so i can charge my phone .in a rude way We dont have rooms anymore.
This is a nice hotel in the Roswell area. I was particularly impressed with the gentleman that checked me in at the front desk. He was super personable and recognized IHG status; very professional. The Olive Garden in the same parking lot is a big plus. After driving all day, it's nice to walk to a restaurant. The hotel pool was closed, and that's about all there is to do at the hotel. I would stay here again.
The staff was very efficient at check in. The hotel was busy on the main floor due to an event that had been going on, how ever there was still plenty of parking spaces. The room was larger than expected and had 2 different types of coffee in the room. Check out didn't take anytime at all. Over all a good hotel, nothing going above and beyond though.
