Holiday Inn & Suites Stockbridge/Atlanta I-75, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Stockbridge - 638 GA-138, USA

Nice place, clean and well run, good location. Staff helpful especially with list of places to eat. We asked for a quiet room and still got one facing out on the highway. Only real complaint, breakfast buffet was cleared out and lobby filled with people, some sleeping on the lobby furniture, the morning of our stay.

Location was convenient but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. We checked in Friday night for two nights. Saturday morning we realized there was no hot water. We attempted to call the front desk but the phone did not work. I visited the front desk and was told an engineer would be at the hotel in an hour who would be informed of the issue. At that time I was made to believe this was an isolated issue. I asked if we could be moved but was told that no other rooms were clean. I was told I could call to check on the status of the water. I asked if the team could call us since we were trying to get out for our daily plans but was told no. I was met with very passive behavior. My room number was written on a clip board and I was sent away. When we returned for the evening we checked the water but it was still cold. We returned to the front desk to learn the water has been a problem in the hotel since the Wednesday before our visit. We were given the opportunity to check 5 other rooms but none of them had hot water. We were not offered to check out or be given a refund so on the second night/second morning we again had cold water. The second night our AC unit made the noise of a freight train throughout the night. Monday morning I called the hotel to speak with the general manager but was told she was in a meeting. I was directed to the sales manager. He confirmed that the hotel has not had hot water on floors 2-5 in many rooms since Wednesday and that while they’ve been told the issue is resolved it clearly isn’t and he is not sure what to do. I explained that if we had been informed up front or even after bringing it to the front desk’s attention we could have been given an option to cancel our reservation. Transparency should have given. He agreed. The sales manager shared with me that he was unsure how guests were being treated but he would check with the general manager and follow up with me. He stated he just arrived to the property- 10am Monday morning and would return my call. It has been 30 hours and I have not received a call back. The guest service, leadership and standards of this hotel are lacking at best. Further, the elevator inspections are expired by 10 months. This should be addressed. If you’re looking for hot water, good customer service, a working phone to the front desk in case of an emergency or quiet stay you will NOT find it here. If you are looking for problem resolution you will NOT receive it. Worst IHG/Holiday Inn experience.

The Staff, food and drinks were great! They were very attentive to their customers and ensured that the customers had just want they wanted. I like the fact that the second night at the bar, they remembered my order from the previous night and asked if I wanted the same. The same included my meal and drinks. I was impressed. The food arrived fresh and hot as well as the drink was made perfectly!

I love coming to this location. GiGi is always so pleasant to work with. The bar tenders!!! I can’t remember their names but they’re always so sweet. Housekeeping does great but I wish they wouldn’t start knocking on doors so early. Especially if I’m not checking out. I can just call the front desk if I need anything. I know they’re just doing their jobs but my sleep . See y’all soon!!!

This was an older hotel. Nice set up. Our room definitely had issues. The rug was totally worn out. The bed had metal sticking out of the side of it! The sheets had a pink stain on them! Overall, it's not a bad stay for overnight but definitely needs some work. People were great, very friendly !

The staff was so happy and welcoming. Unfortunately, the floors in the room were stained and dirty. I found toe nail clippings by the bed and hairs on the bathroom floor. The wifi was sporadic and weak. I was traveling for business and wifi was important to have. The staff was kind in trying to help, but were never able to get the wifi signal stronger. The breakfast was underwhelming and felt expensive for what I would receive at a competing hotel for free. I enjoyed the large atrium and open concept of the floor plan. The location was a nice spot as well! I unfortunately would not recommend staying at this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to any travelers. Although they don’t allow pets! Clean and I felt safe staying there! Bar and restaurant was a little slow in getting my food but the food was very good and reasonably priced

I rarely stay at a hotel where everything is perfect but this stay was exceptional from the friendly staff to the immaculate rooms to the incredible breakfast! I loved every minute of staying here! Excellent job!!!!
