Holiday Inn & Suites Orange Park - Wells Rd., an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Orange Park - 620 Wells Rd, USA

I've stayed at numerous hotels in the area, and this is my favorite - to date. I arrived early and they were veery nice, professional and accommodating. Breakfast (6-9 am for $1.- how can guests go wrong? The hot/cold breakfast included: eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits & gravy, grits, cereals, breads, Chobani yogurt, fresh coffee/ creamers/ cram, scones, tarts, fresh fruit, other fruits; the goodies were individually wrapped so the public didn't touch them - on real plates w/ real silverware with great service! (I hope they change the TV am news from Fox to local or HLN.). The front desk was wonderful. The server at the Onyx Grille and Lounge (HAYLEE) was one of the best I ever encountered in my many decades - and I started out as a server at age 14. The room was spacious, quiet, every place was CLEAN, 46 large LED TV channels - including HBO (I think); I didn't watch it. The bed was very comfortable. This place offers everything a guest could want. I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel, again. What a treat! Even, the room's desk chair was the best hotel chair I ever saw! When entering, they offer a choice of 3 free items (i.e. cookie, bottled water, etc.). Very satisfied with the room, the service, the decor, parking, free fast wifi, business computer/ printer in the lobby. P.S. The cod entree was delicious!

This is a perfectly satisfactory mid-range hotel. Everything was fine; nothing was remarkable. We stayed four nights while attending an event in the area. The property was clean, inside and out, both in the common areas and the guest room itself. Check-in and check out were quick and friendly. One of the staff even went floor-to-floor to find us a rolling cart to bring our luggage in, which was exceptionally helpful. WiFi was reliable. There was no excessive noise inside or outside the hotel. We felt safe coming and going from the parking lot, even at night. The $1 breakfast was adequate, perhaps a small step down from the breakfast bar at Hampton Inn, but for the purpose of getting a plate of food without leaving the hotel, it was acceptable. We ate there one morning and didn't like it enough to return. We had one small hiccup with housekeeping, but eventually after several tries got it resolved.

The staff this morning were some of the most caring and amazing people I have had the pleasure of meeting in the service industry. The room was great and very clean. Bed was very conformable. I arrived after being discharged from the hospital when noone but my friend in NC answered my phone call with nothing but my ID and phone. The morning manager helped my friend get my room over the phone and then made sure I got a charger. She even tried to find me some shoes as I only had the hospital socks. Please make sure to let your staff know how much their kindness meant to me.

Hotel is in a great location. Very close to interstate and about 10 minutes from the naval base. There are plenty restaurants and shops that are close. Rooms were nice and very comfortable. They were very clean. They had a nice lobby and pool area. Plenty of parking. They have an on-site bar and restaurant. In the mornings they have a wonderful breakfast that only costs 1 dollar a person. Will definitely stay when in town again. Had a very fair price and unlike alot if hotels I stay at, they do not have a fee to park there

The staff was personable and helpful. The room was clean. The hotel smelled clean and refreshing. Jason the bartender was fantastic, personable and on top of our food and drink orders. $1 Breakfast was great. Great stay, would definately stay here again.

Hotel is close to NAS Jax and places to eat. The lobby, room and breakfast area is so clean! Little one loved the pool. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The room smelled of smoke. That's something that should have been reported and taken care of by housekeeping before the room was rented; which takes me to my next concern. The shower floor was filthy, the refrigerator was rusty with mold on the inside. I was pissed that I had to throw my leftover food away from Copeland's. The tabletop of the TV stand was dusty and the TV itself had white spots all over the screen. Well, I don't know about anyone else but dried white stuff all over anything in a hotel room is alarming to me... okay! There was a Black woman at the front desk who was very polite and professional. The white woman was completely offensive and condescending. Her tone speaks of one who is in search of conflict. The Baltimore almost rose out of me and gave her what she was asking for. Breakfast was decent; it's hot food such as various egg options, bacon, and sausage, as well as cold options like cereals, muffins, etc. The culinary staff was attentive and did a great job keeping the cafe area wiped clean, and refreshed with food and drinks. Had it not been for the Black young lady at the desk and the culinary crew, this stay would have been a big fat zero! We were supposed to stay for two more nights, but heck no - not under those conditions. We were able to get the family suite at another location, so we checked out.
