Always an excellent experience! We travel here with a group twice a year and always have a great experience. The sales staff is great in accommodating our group. Christy is amazing to work with! The hotel is well-maintained and is extremely clean. The food and beverage staff is also excellent and the food is delicious. We always have them cater a banquet dinner and eat the breakfast buffet. This is the best full-service hotel in Lafayette! I Highly recommend this place for group travel.

In addition to the rooms being nice and the staff being so accommodating. The waitress (Tasha Nelson) was top notch. She is super friendly, attentive and she does a great job of making you feel right at home. I watched her give the same positive and inviting energy to each and every customer. I will be back. I wish I could take this wait staff with me to every hotel I visit. I will be back. Thanks again!

The room was dated but clean. The room’s color scheme was very loud and not conducive to relaxation, but the room was ok for a one night stay. On a positive note, the hotel has the friendliest staff. We left in such a good mood after being served breakfast by the most cheerful and welcoming servers ever, in particular, Tasha.

The staff work in the front desk was very helpful and making the reservations over the phone. They always upgrade my room when available. The restaurant is very very good with a great bartender. The room and hotel is very clean and quiet. But overall the staff is what makes this hotel, the one I choose weekly for over a year.

This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, heated pool was nice and warm, and the breakfast was delicious as well. Ms Tasha in the kitchen was very nice and attentive as well 10/10. We will definitely come again!

We were all surprised by the size of our room. Our toddler had lots of fun running around after being stuck in car for hours. Room was very clean and quiet. Our servers for breakfast in the morning were personable and very nice. Just a great experience overall!

Try to visit once a month. My trips are relaxing and peaceful. I would like to stay longer. I never use the lounge area for the food and beverage but the other amenities are perfect. Also, the indoor pool is fabulous.

My hubby & I were driving back from Florida yesterday and we were too tired to complete the journey all the way back to Texas, so we did a last minute reservation here at the Holiday Inn. I chose this location based on reviews. Some of the more detailed reviews commented on the cleanliness of the property and kindness of the hotel staff. I 100% agree! So glad we stopped when we did. Pros: - Clean - Very comfortable beds! I woke up feeling refreshed. - Beds have both soft and firm pillows for each person - The pillow cases actually say firm or soft on them. How cool is that?! - My husband wants me to convey how much he really loved the soap/toiletries smell - Water pressure was fantastic in the shower - Water gets really hot, and it does so quickly - Staff is very kind - Breakfast buffet was well stocked, great variety and tasty - You can’t beat the price of the breakfast buffet! $12!!! - Coffee is strong and yummy - Nelson, the host/server in the restaurant for breakfast, was extremely accommodating and hospitable. - Northerners who stay/eat breakfast here, will get to experience what southern hospitality is all about. - The hotel price was easy on the wallet - The Manager Emily was so kind and seems very concerned about how guests feel - This specific Holiday Inn & Suites is saved in our Google maps for our next pass through Lafayette :) Cons: - The bold red decor/color palette isn’t my cup of tea. It seems like a petty thing to review, but it’s just an observation. Super random side note, but if you’re gunna be in Lafayette during lunch or dinner, we stopped into Rascals for lunch on our way to Florida and it was great! It’s only a couple exits away from the Holiday Inn. I got the roast beef po boy and it was so comforting & tasty. *drools*
