Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater Beach S-Harbourside, an IHG Hotel - Featured Reviews (1973)
We stay here every few years. We always feel welcome. The hotel is clean, a bit old and could definitely do with some freshening but the staff is always friendly and helpful. Mario Chiavuzzo. the guest services manager really made a difference for us with this trip. His pragmatic, helpful solution to our airlines letting us down enabled us to enjoy our holiday.
Holiday Inn Harbourside is a hidden gem! The staff make you feel like family because they all take pride in this hotel and location. I return again and again and bring friends and family with me. The history, character, and vibe of this hotel is extremely unique and could not be duplicated anywhere else. The food and service was excellent as well as daily/nightly live music in Jimmy Guana's. Jimmy Guana's is awesome and I would rather eat/drive there than somewhere else in the town.
When I arrived, I felt like I stepped into Christmas village. Decorated with the cutest pieces. The room was a 2 level suite. Outdoor patio overlooking the water. The boats had cute names and decor also. The room in itself was clean, well organized. The restaurant attached to the property, Jimmy Iguanas, was excellent. Offering delicious food. Great attentive staff. Great drinks also. Live music daily. The property includes free tickets to the next door Waterpark & mini golf(little charge for that) The whole stay was great.
Enjoy this property for a staycation and it didn't disappoint. The access tot he Harbourside pool area is a plus and at least you get something when paying an amenity fee! Location is great in that the beach is pretty much across the street, and the local restaurants are all within walking distance. Appreciate the amenities.
I realize that most of the country was shut down for a few years, but the place could use a little upkeep in the rooms. The fridge is great, but the rollers on it should be locked so that it doesn't come out from the wall when you open the door! Recaulking of the shower stall so it doesn't look as if it is mold (I know from owning several homes how to fix that--the end result is worth the effort!).
We’ve been staying at this hotel for years. We do enjoy their waterside rooms and suites. The recent $32 resort fee though is a little steep for this hotel. When we stayed the temperature was 60°. The resort fee is supposed to include waterpark tickets but who’s gonna go to a waterpark when it’s that chilly? We think they should drop that resort fee to $16 a night to cover parking and pool and forget the waterpark passes. They might get more customers. It’s in a great location and the staff is always nice. |The only thing that needs a little touching up are the bathrooms. The fixtures need to be replaced.
Good location. On harbour, walking distance to beach (NO public washrooms on beach so you have to keep walking back to hotel).
BUT the rooms have not been updated for at least 30 years. OLD appliances that smell and don't work. Carpet that is dirty and smelly. The entire suite had a funky smell. OLD. OUTDATED.
Cannot say how disappointed we were with this hotel. It should not be branded as a Holiday Inn, as it is not up to ROOM standards at all.
As well, "free parking", "free breakfast" - NO. $16/day/person amenity fee for those.
Checked in at this hotel last minute while visiting the area. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us a huge king suite room with a balcony at a very good price. The room was very clean and bed was pretty comfortable. The only thing was it could use some updating. Very close to the beach and lots of restaurants close by.
We liked everything about this hotel. Our room was updated and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was spotless. It was right next door to the water park. It was two blocks from the beautiful Indian Rocks Beach. The food at the hotel was delicious. We were even able to order service from the restaurant and have it delivered to the water park snack bar.

Found this quaint place right on the beach. Hosts were fabulous. Accommodations were great and amenities included beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. Uncrowded beach even though public. Close to so many things either walking or driving. Fantastic gu
Nice quite side of the Clearwater area just a quick 12 minute ride south. I think there's like 8 parking spots so on the busy season you may be hard pressed to find a spot. No showers or bathrooms here but it's worth it. If you prefer less of a crowd
This place was so good I ate here twice during my week visit.
Everything was wonderful. Not sure what I liked more the char broiled octopus or the blackened grouper. I know you can't go wrong with a slice of the key lime pie
We had a wonderful experience at TJâs! The staff was extraordinary, especially our waitress Becky!! Felt like our dining experience was top priority. We got the fried cheese ravioli and garlic bread to start (along with house bread that was heavenl

GREAT PRICES?!! They have fun typical bar games and darts plus itâs actually rather spacious beyond the bar seating. Also itâs in walking distance to the beach so we stopped by before and after for some intense jenga games. Luke the bartender is
I got kind of pulled to go here today with the family.
I was negative from the beginning with the $30 per person entrance fee and $20 parking. For what I thought was going to be a lame water park.
They gave us a credit for $20 for parking we bought o
