Holiday Inn & Suites Bellingham, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Bellingham - 4260 Mitchell Way, USA

Came here a couple months ago with my daughter and had a great time so we decided to come back. Just checked in and didn’t have a pleasant experience with the front desk. Disappointing because the last time, the front desk person was so nice, the one today needs an attitude adjustment or maybe learn how to speak with guests better rather than lying about room availability and not being allowed to upgrade rooms which I was willing to pay for. At first she said we aren’t allowed to upgrade and then later changed her mind saying no upgrades are available. I checked online and you can still book a room I was wanting to upgrade too. I went back and asked if I can speak to someone else and this is when she said there is one available but for wheelchair accessible and we can upgrade if we wanted to. But online, it says there’s still availability that’s not for wheelchairs. Anyways, no room upgrade, ok fine. Just get your story straight and don’t lie to guests about it. We also found a dirty towel in our bathroom so I don’t know if it was even cleaned. Our stay has started off to a rocky start.

I had family stay here when they were in town and this place had all we could ask for. Restaurant is great and the rooms are wonderful and clean. They accept dogs also which is great and have a pool which my nephew loved! Staff was all great and accommodating! It's away from downtown but it only takes 10 mins to drive there. I would recommend this hotel and if you are flying out of Bellingham, airport is right there.

Wonderful clean spacious hotel rooms. The furniture was all in excellent condition with no stains. The floors are laminate everywhere except the bedroom that was carpeted. Nico at the front desk was a delight to work with. Our room was ready early and we were allowed a late check. The price was a bargain.

We rented one of their banquet rooms for a memorial service last week, along with their catering, and it was incredible! The room set up was perfect and had everything we needed (projector, screen, microphone). The food was very good and plentiful. Everything was done so professionally, we couldn’t have asked or hoped for more. Our family and friends were very comfortable and the layout was perfect for mingling and visiting with each other. I highly recommend!

Only stayed one night so didn't have much interaction with the front desk staff but they were quick, efficient and polite as you'd expect. The restaurant and bar staff not as much, so only 4 stars. The location was perfect if you were flying in or out. Very quiet for being right next to the airport. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Only fault I found was no little freezer inside the mini fridge to refreeze my icepacks.

Great hotel and staff. The restaurant food was surprisingly good and the price is just enough to get you to eat there instead of going out elsewhere. The hotel itself is fairly new - about 5/7 years old. I think they could have more amenities like things designed with the business traveler in mind such as a social event on certain evenings or something like that. Or a Washington trivia night. That would be fun and I think a good number of folks would be interested. When we come back again, we would stay there.

I've become a great fan of Holiday Inn hotels this past year. After spending much of my time at Hilton branded hotels, I'm finding these Holiday Inn hotels much better. They have very comfortable beds and having the pillow cases labeled firm or soft is a nice touch too! I'm not usually a fan of hotel breakfast at these type of hotels but the Holiday Inn at the Bellingham Airport has a great restaurant serving up really good food. Moat Holiday Inns I've stayed at only ha e breakfast bars but they also have the best food for hotels in this class.

The room was very clean. The hotel itself was very clean. Traveling alone, I felt safe here. From check in to check out, everything went smoothly. The lady at the bar and the lady working the restaurant at breakfast were so accommodating, nice and friendly. Even though the airport was just across the parking lot, the hotel offered to shuttle me to the front door of the airport, which I accepted. I would definitely stay here again if the need arose. The only negative I can think of would be that the room is a bit pricier than I usually pay when I travel but the location to the airport and the overall experience of staying here made it worth it.
