Hojas Premium Tea House - Tea house in Wilmington - 1201 N Avalon Blvd, USA

I went here to get some tea, and I honestly thought I wasn't going to get much when I was at the store looking through their menu. For god's sake they put chocolate under green tea and a green tea blend under oolong. Not to say much of their menu are tea blends. I got one of their crema con miel while my sister changed to a coffee. The tea I got is more milk tea than tea to me but it's not bad, I can still taste the slight bitter taste of the tea that's matched by the cream. Though the service I received was no good and I give them a 3/5 for it. The front desk seems like she's not ready to work in this early hour. She asked me if I want my tea iced or hot, and I said light ice. She clearly didn't comprehend that and asked me again with impatience. Also, her voice is pretty small so I can really hear her half of the time.

Really great place to get a nice sandwich or breakfast bagels. I always get the chef special bagel sandwich and some coffee. Since they are a “tea house” they have a wide variety of teas and drinks, all of the ones I’ve tried are good. Energize Me and the Chai are really good! Service is friendly and lots of seating, but it’s popular so make sure you have enough time to beat the rush. Outdoor seating area is nice and covered too. They also have a nice cucumber or fruit infused water dispenser. I come here at least twice a month, both in the mornings or during my lunch break!!

I had a tinder date here lol. Didn't order anything for myself except water. He got a coffee that took forever to prepare. I hope it was good. We sat outside, it was kind of noisy inside and there was a good amount of people. Seems like a popular place. The date was ok but I probably won't come back to this location since it's close to his place and he unmatched me on tinder. Would be awkward to run into him lol I think there's another location in San Pedro closer to me. Anyway, it's a good spot to meet a tinder date lol

8:30 pm The worst experience with this site. The cashier took like a 10 min to understand me what do I ordered. When I got my drinks I tasted my Masala Chai and no flavor or honey on the bottom and I put the other drink on the waste (christhem iced tea), because tasted like a Cup of water with ice. I couldn’t come back because you close at 9 pm, but definitely I never won’t my money AGAIN on your drink s 😡😡😡😡😡

Nice cozy place. A giant menu to choose from, specially for tea. On my resent visits I've chosen the vanilla latte. The flavor is unique as any other place. To me it resembled the taste of the cereal honey smacks, a bit more one time then in my other visits. Smoth taste and hard to flavor any espresso. Just that honey smacks after taste.

They have great teas and my favorite fruit tart- a small tart with fruits on top and a spectacular crust. It even has a thin layer of chocolate hidden between the custard and the crust. Yes, it’s in Wilmington- which to some is the armpit of San Pedro. Haha. Still the best Hojas location that I have come across. Friendly staff and chill atmosphere.
