This place is awesome. It's peaceful and close to everything. The food has been excellent every breakfast, and we even had Oreo, the cat, come visit us each morning for some lovings. There's a fountain right outside our door which makes the most calming white noise ever. The courtyards are very well kept, and the accommodations are lovely. Very thoughtfully laid out.
Beautiful place. Amenities are exactly what you need/want for a relaxing stay. We stayed in the Ivy and it was perfect with its kitchenette and porch. We loved it and will be back. Thank you to the staff that provided amazing picnic breakfast every morning
We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Morning Star room. The room is lovely with beautiful high ceilings. It also comes with a bath tub which I loved. The lavender peppermint bath products smell amazing. We had plenty of room for the two of us. Loved getting breakfast delivered every morning and the food was very good. Only downside was the bed was too soft for me but that is a personal preference and should not deter other visitors. You can hear other guests if they are walking around your room outside and cars crunching on the gravel but everyone was very respectful and we didn't hear anything late at night or very early in the morning. The location is good, we were able to walk to main street easily but were still far enough away to have plenty of quiet. Also don't forget to say high to the Haus cat, Oreo. Very sweet kitty.
I was really looking forward to our stay at HH based on being rated one of the best hotels on Tripadvisor. My fiance and I were on a little getaway. The pictures of the Texas Bunkhouse looked nice but when we arrived at our room, it smelled musty, the concrete floors were gritty, and the seating had water stains on it. We turned the television on but we could not get any of the local channels (only Tubi) and the shows that aired were all in Spanish! It was frustrating as we wanted to keep up with what was going on with Beryl. When I pulled back the cover on the bed, there was a bug! We decided to cut our trip short and leave the following morning. (We had planned to stay two nights.) The pluses were the easy check-in to your hotel room and the lovely breakfast. The next morning, I talked to the young lady at the front desk about our experience. She was apologetic and offered to refund that night's stay and pass my comments on to the manager.
Absolutely lovely place to stay! We stayed in the Alamo suite and adored the charm and size of the room. Lovely tub and patio for breakfast. The breakfast, by the way, delivered directly to your door in a charming basket was FANTASTIC!
A quick walk to Main, and far enough away to avoid the noise, perfect distance honestly. Wish the parking was paved rather than gravel, but a minor inconvenience, honestly. You'll love it here!
We had an elopement wedding at Hoffman Haus in June so 18 people including us . Planned this wedding frm overseas with the help of the vendors provided by Hoffman Haus and have to say the pics of the property don’t do justice . It’s just a perfect fairy tale setting . The rooms were sooo lovely each one a little different.Loved the breakfast in the basket , it was sooo cute . Evn the had a breakfast buffet planned was just amazing ( still dreaming abt it ) . Kim , Shonda and Natalie were great help and super patient and polite. Can’t wait to go back .
Ps- don’t forget to pick some of the spa range from the reception
I had a great time at Hoffman Haus! The customer service and attention to detail is stellar. It’s also not too far from the boutique stores. Highly recommend!
I’m with the Heart Of Texas Wine Tours. I pick a lot of my customers up here for Wine Tours and they absolutely love the place. They like that. It’s real close to town all the restaurants and bars and the rooms are great.
