Expected a long wait in the morning but was able to get a table quickly. Service was good and fast. We had the Special Autumn Ommi and Gigi’s favorite Benny which was very light and tasty. Others had lemon blueberry pancakes and omelette all of which were good. Of course the star of the show. The coffee cake. Enough to bring home. Only downside is the lack of parking.
The food was overall delicious! Customer service was quick & friendly as well. I had the breakfast burger which was really good, a little bit dry because there's no sauce component but I asked for a side of hollandaise & it perfected it. But the burger was really good, cooked well & flavored well. The chilaquiles were also delicious & flavorful & of course the blueberry coffee cake was amazing! Will be back soon!
Come on... It's Hobees! A healthy place to get breakfast. If you come, get the original blueberry coffee cake. Always have them put butter on it. It is well worth the few extra calories. Everything we had was delicious . Our two wait staff people were on the ball and always had our cups of coffee and water filled. Very nice. Thank you, Hobees.
Went on Christmas Eve and they were super busy. They still served us promptly and we were a group of 9. The food was creative and the coffee cake was delicious. The only downside was us not knowing they didn’t split checks on the weekends.
A classic spot in the bay. Really good portion sizes for the price. 2 brunch meals plus a milkshake left us so full we couldn’t finish, and came out to $40 with tax and tip. Was a busy Saturday morning but it was impossible to get our waiter, and we never saw him after we got our food; had to chase him down for the check. Would still recommend the spot, and make sure you get the classic coffee cake! Got the cheesy egg scramble and the chicken apple sausage scramble, as a burrito.
Eclectic menu. Menu has lots of options, but might be too much for those that like simple menus. Options range from healthy grain bowls, sweet and savory breakfast items, to Latin and Mediterranean. I opted for the Chilaquiles which was good. Hashbrown potatoes were decent. This is a nice little place next door to the Hilton Inn Palo Alto. It reminds me of a mom and pop restaurant in a small neighborhood within Chicago. Servers to tables filled ratio was tough to watch but most restaurants are struggling for good help. Overall good experience.
In A Nutshell: -Hobee's is a mainstay, a legendary neighborhood restaurant in the area. -I used to come eat here when I worked in Palo Alto. -The food is still amazing. -Their Salmon Hash & Eggs w/ the Coffee Cake is a nice, balanced breakfast. Overall, if you are in Palo Alto & need to find a mom & pop diner for breakfast, I suggest you come here to eat.
This was recommended as a must stop! It’s a very decent brunch place with good food options and reasonable prices. Got a mix and match Benedict and breakfast burger. The bennies came with their famous blueberry coffee cake!!
We stopped into this cafe for a quick lunch on our shopping day at the mall. Thereâs a great selection of lunch items. My mom and I each had salads - you can choose from a few protein options as well. We had salmon and chicken. Great service and
Training at Palo Alto Fit has been a wonderful experience for me, and I owe a lot of that to my trainer, Jason! I was intimidated by the gym at first, but Jason's encouraging attitude helped me feel more comfortable. He created a personalized workou
