Don’t let their name fool you. There’s nothing family friendly about this hotel. Room 125 smells so bad of stale smoke for being a non-smoking room. Fly strip full of dead flies hanging above the TV. Stained walls, clogged toilet and sink. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. I barely slept. Get this; They advertise free breakfast and even told me about it at check-in. At 7:30am when we went to check-out I was told there would be no breakfast served. “Maybe come back at 8:30 or maybe we won’t have it because it’s Sunday.” Don’t stay here. Such a waste of $75. Total ripoff GROSS! 🤢 🤮 Someone upstairs was probably looking out for me with the breakfast cancellation because if their food is anything like their rooms or service I’d have a food borne illness right now. Bulldoze this place. Hobbs deserves better.
I actually have been coming to Hobbs Family Inn for years as My husband and I are in town often for work and this was a good basic motel that has semi parking and they are kind enough to let us put cars there while we are going around town rounding them up for our business. Their restaurant is great. The rooms were outdated and somewhat rundown but the price was great for work. This is the first time, though, I have done a review for them as it has been over a year since we had been here as it has been our employees lately here. The gal behind the desk remembered us and was so awesome. But what I got so excited about was they have been redoing their rooms. Very impressed with what they have done. New carpet, tile, vanity etc. very comfortable. I also noticed they put up new lighting and it looks great. And lastly, you can tell they are really trying to keep the bad elements away from their establishment. Hobbs, unfortunately, can be a rough town so I am glad they are trying to make it safe for their guests.
The new breakfast restaurant at the Hobbs family inn. It's my understanding that the previous outfit responsibile for providing the free breakfast that is included with your reservation; was Saxony room. I have been told they did a wonderful job and only charged $5 if you had to order an additional breakfast. The new outfit is rather uninspiring. As a matter of fact it feels like a dictatorship than a supremely led collective effort. They aren't in business to accommodate any of the hotel guests, something the head honcho made very clear the first time he served us. The guests were made part of the deal when he rented the spacs. The menu, leaves something to be desired. I have been to hotels that charged gZ
Would have gave it an very good rating but the place now wants a $250.00 deposit if you live in Hobbs and you have an id from Hobbs so honestly it's not the cheapest place to stay..
Hubby and I stay any time when we're in hobbs rooms always clean, staff friendly love the mgr she sweet and funny.
Ended up needing to book a room for the weekend at 11pm on a Friday, was worried that I won't find a room. Called about a hour out from Hobbs, and was pleased to hear they had a room still. Cheaper than everywhere else in town with listed rates. Front desk staff was fantastic. The room was across from the bar, which was packed and noisy, but the room itself was incredibly quiet inside. That room was decent, clean, spacious but wifi was sub par with connection dropping out constantly. All and all, I was more than pleased and will be returning to stay here again .
Rooms are very clean and breakfast was amazing. This company shows that you don't have to overcharge customers to have a wonderful stay.
Absolutely gross. No way in hell am I eating at that restaurant as disgusting as these rooms are. The lady at the front desk was nice though.
Jazlynn was spot on, top of the notch! She determined my best discount and even got my out of State medical discount! Iâm a disabled vet so that meant a lot to me with the price of things. To all my comrades Iâve got your six on this opâ¦â¦.
