HiWay inn express - Hotel in McAlester - , USA

The attendants was amazing. Great people very friendly. The gym had better equipment than any hotel or motel we have ever been to. The pool and lounge are closed. They don't serve breakfast and the rooms was way outdated and did not smell good at all. The tv had malfunctions, there was no fitted sheets on the bed. There was trash in the nightstands. And there was water damage to most of the ceiling and furniture. Rates were fair for the stay but wouldn't suggest for a weekend get away more of a stop and stay for road trips.

Dirty rooms , housekeeper brings her small kids to work with her and lets them go into your rooms while you are not there . Bad customer service. There is no breakfast, there is no wifi, the pool has no water in it. Asked for a nonsmoking room and was put in a smoking room. Was not allowed to change to a different room. Was no hot water in the room. It barely even got warm. The door would not even lock . The people working during the day was extremely rude. They wanted to blame everything wrong with the room on you , like you don't have eyes to see it or a nose to smell the room. If I knew who to turn this nasty place into I would! It was awful 😷😖

i stay here everytime i come to town. the rooms are always clean and the staff is extremely friendly. there is a $40 cash deposit due upon check in but it is refundable when checking out. the rates for the rooms are more than fair compared to anywhere else in town. it'll be even nicer when the indoor pool is filled and operational for guests to use. if you're staying in macalester, stay at the hiway inn Express for the best room for the price

I wouldn’t even give it one star. The pool is not open and the pictures on the website looks 100% better then in person. The roof leaks so there for they don’t rent out rooms on the 2ed floor. The little shot lady that work is a hateful person and the house keeper is the worst ever. 4-15-2018. Unless you don’t mind a Horrible rooms and bad service, very sketchy people this is the hotel for you

One of the worst motels I have ever been in. First off, they will con you out of money, determined to get you in a double bed room, claiming they have no singles vacant, when there are only 3 vehicles in the parking lot. Not to mention the rooms are all still in the process of being painted, with tape still up on the walls. Everything is either coated with a thick layer of dust, or covered in a thick layer of mold. There is no way I can believe this motel is up to code. Both beds, one of which we didn't even want, were both still filthy from the last customer's stay. The best part about this motel was check out, I was glad to have left. I will never stay at another HiWay Inn Express.

Use to be employed by this establishment. The woman who runs it, Martha, is a very hateful woman. She is racist and discriminating. Shes made up petty reasons just to keep guests' deposits and add them to the "Do Not Rent" list. A friend of mine forgot her deposit and went back for it a couple of weeks later, to find out Martha has used it for "breakfast" When she reimbursed my friend the money, she also landed herself on the List. Another friend of mine tried to interview for a job with us, and was denied because he liked men and had longer hair. She said "we no want people like that here." She threatened to call DHS on a couple and kicked them out because their children were in the lobby using the Wi-Fi, Martha went as far as to yelling at an 11 year old telling her to get out of the hotel. The hotel itself is Gorgeous and has a lot of potential. Its such a shame the owners let it go so bad the roof is caving in, in most of the rooms on the second floor and the ceilings are filled with BLACK MOLD. And do not take the proper steps to treating bed bug problems.

40 bucks truckers rate. Clean room. No bugs. Plenty of Truck parking, no breakfast. Older TV. No wifi. Good enough for a 10 hour break. Wouldnt pay more but will stay again at this price. Steak house, stop and rob, movie theater, bowling, roller skating, walmart, within walking distance. Dammit driver its trucker heaven!

Do not go to this motel! We were getting our things together and the man working the desk asked for my I'd, so I thought we were going downstairs to get my I.D. on file, he goes around the corner and asied me for a cigarette and then tried to pull me hand in. There are no cameras, my word against his. I was lucky enough to get away. I just want everyone to be aware because it will happen again to someone else.
