Beautiful country setting for a wedding, shower, community event or family reunion. It’s a historic iron forge dating back to 1700’s. It consist of a mansion, bed and breakfast, Picnic pavilion, ballfield, covered bridge. There are steps involved for the mansion. It is used for summer youth programs. Great place for photography. The Conestoga Creek Runs thru the property. It’s close to Lancaster, Pa. We went to a fall community event. Simple and relaxing which we enjoyed with the sounds of the fiddles playing! You can come by bike, buggy, or car.
This is a nice little park and looks small, but once you come in, you realize it is a lot bigger than you expected. It is well maintained, has lots of picnic tables, benches, and even a pavilion. Also, there are a few public grills to use and a playground as well. Only downfall to this location is the fact that there are no physical bathrooms. You have to use the porta potties.
Beautiful park perfect for a picnic or a light stroll. There aren't any long trails around it so if that's what you're looking for this is not it.
This place is gorgeous! Loved the little tid bits about the history of it! If you want more information, look online.
We went to visit the covered bridge, but lingered so much longer because of the delightful grounds. Where else can you find a resident cat to greet the visitors? There were plenty of picnic benches, and places to sit and watch the water. Further away from the bridge is a nice playground with plenty of parking. It seems to promote itself as a wedding venue, and I can certainly understand why.
We enjoyed visiting this free park with our dog for strolls in the afternoon, at sunset and sunrise there was spectacular. There are some short hiking trails leading to a brook and a public park with a playground. There are picnic tables, a wishing well and a cranky rooster who gaurds the paved path. Cross the covered bridge and head left to stroll a meadow with native wlidflowers.
This was a great stop while traveling. We got to see the lovely covered bridge and stretch our leg.
We went there for a wedding. And it was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend anybody looking for an outdoor wedding. This would be the place for you all the way around. It was just beautiful, not just the wedding. And the people that were the food was great. By the caterer It was just everything was perfect all the way around
This place is amazing. The owners are some of the most kind and generous I've ever crossed paths with. The Linden room is gorgeous, the amenities are plenty, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. With almost all of the food b
