Have loved the festival for years, but each year it gets more and more crowded making it hard to get anywhere/to anything, the prices for everything are outrageous, and for the kiddos, the rides continue to get worse each year, all of which are to be expected for any festival though. Entertainment this year (specifically the jugglers and the musicians) were great this year, in my opinion. Overall, it was still a good time.
A great party in a beautiful small town. Make time to drink a King Don's pumpkin ale at Catawba Brewery.
Great close the town down for drivers and open the streets up for vendors, soft play, crafts, arts, food trucks, etc. Lots of entertainment on the stage at the courthouse. Probably the most fun downtown festival in the area.
Excellent annual two-day festival. Hundreds of craft, art and food vendors. Has a free concert each year by various National Recording Artists, to wrap up the festival. Well planned and orchestrated event that draws many families year after year.
One of the best statewide. Main stage bands bleh. New " country" sucks but that is their niche and safe pick. Side stages and vendors and food vendors ( especially the last locals) are fabulous.
One of the best festivals in NC! Tons of vendors and great music! They have a kids zone as well!
Fun but parking is an issue. Not easy for handicapped to maneuver easily. Great good choices.
Very crowded, could be more spread out with a better variety of vendors; food good as usual.
