Life guards had a huge black speaker with inappropriate Spanish reggaeton music that was inappropriate for children that were at the pool. First time here and last!! Life guards should know better, this is a community pool and children and family come here!!!! So disgusted!

Such a local gem. I like their layout more than the city pool out west. I took months of adult swimming classes, a few yrs back. Yes, I was a hot, clumsy mess. The lifeguards were patient, skilled & friendly. Great place for a swim, picnic or to get some sun. Fun fact: this site used to be Miramar’s 1st & only Jewish temple. Love it! 🤓

I love pools. I live in Pembroke Pines. I was looking up reviews of the all the local public pools near me and this one had the best so far. I’ve been here 4 times. I work as a teacher for BCPS so I don’t have to pay an entry fee, but if I did it’s not that much. I think it is $3. The staff has always been friendly and the pool is very clean. I’m also happy with the size of the pool. I do not go to pools to do laps, but there was always an available lane if I wanted to. There was a big speaker which played music each time was there. There is one problem with this pool which is why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 and that is the parking. The entrance of the pool is located directly on a side street down the block from a public school. The parking lot fits one row of cars diagonally and across from that there a about 4 parking spots one behind the next. Due to the fact that it is down the block from a school, street parking is not permitted during school hours. Right next to the pool there is something called Civil Center Park which as a small parking lot. I don’t think it has anything to do with the pool so people going to the pool can’t utilize the parking lot.

Great for Summer camps and family daybout especially in the heat of summer.

If you like a family friendly feeling when you take your kids to learn to swim, then this is the place. I’ve been taking my child there since 2018 and we love going there. All the instructors treat you well and they work with your child from their level. We drive 25 minutes each way for the classes. It’s small, but what they don’t have in size they make up with the quality of service. Worth the visit.
