Michabelle Inn is Fantastic!!!
The Marie Antoinette suite was just wonderful and had access to the balcony as well.
The owners and service are top notch.
The house and property is just beautiful.
We absolutely loved our stay and recommend to anyone staying in the Hammond area; Don't miss out on this Gem!!!
We had a fantastic visit. We stayed in the Oriental Suite. Very decorative and quiet…peaceful. The place is so beautiful and the food is out of this world delicious! Service was impeccable! A must-stay!
The pictures say it all…
What used to be a beautiful home is now a dirty, smelly, joke of a bed and breakfast.
From the moment we arrived to when we left, it was odd and confusing. It wasn’t very welcoming, and the room was underwhelming and dirty. We stayed in the Scheherazade suite, which looked promising in the pictures online. It smelled damp, felt creepy, and was not clean. As other reviewers have said, there was dust EVERYWHERE. The sheets and pillows were full of stains, the rugs were sticky, the jacuzzi tub was constantly leaking and crusty, and the toilet area had bugs on the floor and what appears to be a stain of handcuffs with bodily fluids next to it (Pictures to prove it). Very disturbing.
We couldn’t even stay the night, it was too gross. When we went to the main house to complain and notify the staff we were leaving early, the bartender just said “It’s not my place to clean, I’m just here to serve drinks.” Which I understand, but the owners were nowhere to be found, per the bartender. Nor was there a manager on site. So we couldn’t even tell them ourselves. Based on how the owners respond to other bad reviews on Google and TripAdvisor, the likelihood of this review being met with sincerity and the chances of getting a refund since we didn’t even stay the night are slim to none. This place is very unorganized and unprofessional.
We hoped to have a nice, romantic getaway at what could be such a beautiful B&B if the owners cared about the guests. But that sadly was not the case.
An excellent, unique lodging experience. The rooms belong to a historic mansion and its carriage house in a quiet neighborhood, and each is very private and eloquently designed. Mine had an Arabic theme with a lavish king bed, a massive jacuzzi tub, and a screened-in porch to take in the sounds of the night on. I was not prepared for the breakfast: a full southern meal with restaurant-grade eggs, potatoes, and toast; not the buffet-style stuff you see at most hotels. You can tell a lot of care goes into the accommodations and guest service here, and this is absolutely the type of non-corporate business you should support if you find yourself in East Louisiana.
Beautiful setting and very good service. Had the buffet, $25.any type of drink, tea, coffee, extra. Could be better. Mini waffles too dry, chicken good. Too much spice on potatoes. Sausage and eggs, good. Mini cake mostly sweet icing. Would return and order from the menu.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Room was beautiful and clean. Hosts were kind and welcoming. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent service and brunch. We really enjoyed staying in the cottages. We plan to return soon! Very quiet and peaceful. We loved the southern charm.
Just do yourself a favor and save your money and go somewhere else. If you insist, please go read TripAdvisor and Google reviews. The owner seems to be a con-artist and the place is falling apart. Half the lights in our suite didn’t work The shelves were dusty. And the owner seems to always reply with “well you didn’t complain while you were here”. Well, I shouldn’t have to complain if your cleaning department was doing what they are supposed to be doing they would know that the lights don’t work and maybe the shelves wouldn’t be dusty. This place really needs some maintenance. And if I were to complain while I was there about the lights, would you have came in and fixed them it? While I only have the suite for one night to spend quality time with my partner? Come on get real! Your rooms should be inspected over before presented to guest. From the reviews and replies, I’ve read on TripAdvisor and google reviews, it looks like you don’t take any responsibility for your establishment. You need to take some ownership and responsibility and take care of your business.
What a great place to grab some food!!! The staff was so friendly. They let us try samples before we bought our food. We're from Arizona and never had Louisiana food. This place is delicious. Definitely stop in, if your in the area.
Didn't spend time inside the main bar area. I attended a Queer North shore Meetup event and we hung out across the street. I believe that is where the food area is. I was there on a Wednesday evening and the kitchen isn't open Monday through Wednesda
Absolutely beautiful property! Great staff and friendly neighbors! Pet-friendly environment with the best amenities!
My favorite part about The Waters at Hammond is the amazing sunrise and sunset views! I chose my new apartment specifically for the b
I was told about this store from a fellow crafter that told me I had to go check them out. I love this store! It is a stone, mineral, rock lovers dream. There is so much to pick from. I feel I could spend an entire day looking at all the selection
Calm, quiet, leisurely shopping visit. The young woman on staff offered me a free coffee with cream and sugar ð¥°. News to me, they sell coffee beans and grind them up for you. The coffee was good btw lol. Clean shop. Whimsical feel. Garden acces
