No buildings were open but the scenery was amazing and we had a good time. We stopped at a restaurant picked up food then had a picnic at the park..beautiful day! We definitely will visit again, we live in fairmount.

We just love this place, always quite and beautiful. You feel like your in the middle of know where, surrounded by woods, streams, and history. Read the signs and gain knowledge or just enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. All types of trails, pathetic sidewalks, wood bridges and walkways as well as hard gravel and rocks. 3 miles if you do all the loops.

Wonderful late afternoon walk along the old Erie Canal and Wabash(Oubache) River. Many historical signs and wide, easy walking paths, this location has a LOT of Native American and Erie Canal history, all under a canopy of large trees.

Very beautiful nice hiking trails and wonderful piece of history. There is also a hall for parties and wedding reception. Really liked it.

A peaceful park setting, a trail runs thru it with part of it being on the tow path of the Wabash-Erie canal. Not sure what the visitor center was like, tried to walk up but a sign saying ring bell for entry deterred me away unfortunately.

Beautiful place. The trails are well kept. There is a really awesome wooden bridge. The flower garden is beautiful as well.

They have a realy cool suspension bridge as well as paved trails. They have a few camping spots if you like to backpack in. The buildings are historical and they have events there a few times a year. Its pet friendly and about a mile long.

We stopped at the park and walked around while visiting the area. A very nice and well maintained historical park. I gather from looking at their website that they have even more to offer than we saw. Would definitely stop again.

My great grandson absolutely loved it, very clean, we had our McDonald's lunch at the picnic table, and then he proceeded to play on the big slide, and I pushed him on the swings, which he loved going higher and higher, definitely recommend.
