We had a great stay here!! The house is lovely, the rooms are large, our bed was comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to St Paul & Minneapolis sights and restaurants. Kevin was so welcoming and full of knowledge about what to see & do in the area. Did I mention he's a great chef?? Our breakfasts were awesome!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at the Historic District BnB in St Paul was amazing. Our room was well furnished and very comfortable. Kevin greeted us each morning in the dining room, and prepared the most delicious made to order breakfasts. We lazed around on the front porch afterward and enjoyed the quiet of the lovely tree-lined street. Thank you Kevin for making us feel so welcomed and for being so accommodating. Our experience could not have been better!

I love it when an inn exceeds my expectations! My daughter and I stayed in the Carriage House for a night. The location was ideal for walking and enjoying the spectacular mansions along and off Summit Avenue, not to mention the great nearby restaurants. Our cottage was both charming and comfortable. The kitchenette was super organized and easy to navigate for morning coffee. We joined a community table for breakfast at the main house next door. Kevin in his crisp white chef's outfit offered an array of breakfast goodies, including his part soufflé, part omelette. We had a lively conversation with other guests before departing. This place is a treasure. 6 stars!

This B&B is my new standard for comparing all other B&Bs to. Wow!! 10/10! The house is nicely decorated; I instantly felt comfortable and like I was staying with friends and not at my 84 year old great aunt’s house. The front porch was a favorite for enjoying some morning reading time or an afternoon drink & snack. Our room (The Geo Grant room) was quiet and the closet space, OMG! We were here for a week and that closet space allowed us to unpack from our suitcases and move in. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the in-room a/c and mini fridge for late night snacks. The bathroom was perfect for my husband and I to get ready together without getting into each other’s way. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The breakfasts were so good, a new choice everyday from a light option, savory option or a sweet option along with a fresh baked muffin (a new flavor each day!) and fresh fruit. Pro tip: get the bacon! I fully appreciated the ability to make a reservation for a time and table preference (shared vs. private) - I wish all B&B’s offered this. This B&B is within perfect walking distance to a bunch of amazing restaurants! Definitely stay here if you have the chance, I know I’ll be recommending it to family & friends.

The Historic District B and B is a GORGEOUS old house. Breakfasts were superb and the menus gave us a wide range of options each morning. Kevin is hands down the friendliest and nicest B&B host we have ever encountered. We stayed in The Carriage House which was great for having plenty of room and sense of privacy/solitude. Next time though we'll choose one of the suites because the shower in the Carriage House , by being against the sloping ceiling, was a bit too low for us even though we're short. I'd rate the overall experience as 10 out of 10.

Kevin is a thoughtful host with plenty of communication both by email and texting. Check in is a breeze. Has self-serve snacks and drinks which is lovely. Our particular room did not have a desk (which my husband likes when he has to do a little work) but we were able to use the rooms downstairs. Breakfasts were delicious and options provided. Kevin also kindly did not toss us out Sunday morning since no one was booked that night, so we were able to get out at a more leisurely pace which was nice. He was very friendly and introduced us to our breakfast companion which made chatting easier. I would recommend. Is an easy 10-minute drive to Macalester for those folks who are visiting their kids like we were.

If we could give our visit a 10-star rating, we would. The Bnb is charming, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Kevin's service is impeccable and he spends just the right amount of time getting to know his guests. The location is quaint and historic; we walked to restaurants, cafes, the cathedral and down the historic Summit Avenue mansions.

I had the most wonderful stay at the Historic District B&B while in St. Paul. The inn was quiet, peaceful, spacious, and incredibly clean. My room was perfect (Geo Grant), had everything I could need for my stay. The complimentary coffee/beverage station was a treat and available day or night. I walked to many destinations including the MN History Museum, St. Paul Cathedral, James J. Hill House, and Grand Ave. The area is beautiful with such historical charm and very close to many local eateries. But the very best of all - Kevin's amazing hospitality and breakfasts, so incredible! I felt completely spoiled. This is a must stay if you are looking for a lovely and special getaway.

We had my son’s 11th birthday party at D1 and Kris and his staff did not disappoint! The kids had such a blast the entire time playing dodgeball, tug of war and football as well as racing each other pushing the sleds. They were all exhausted when
