Historic Courthouse 1893 - Wedding venue in Waukesha - 916 N East Ave, USA

I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding here this past April. The Historic Courthouse 1893 is an absolute hidden gem in Waukesha. The architecture of the whole building is stunning. I am blown away of the getting ready areas for the gals and guys! Lots of room to spread out - definitely a great option to the usual Wisconsin barn wedding. The ceremony and reception space is spacious and is beautifully lit naturally and a DJ can really add a pop with extra uplighting. The on-site staff were super helpful throughout the day and extremely friendly. I look forward to shoot here again!

I am a local wedding photographer and I shot my first wedding at this venue in January of 2023. I absolutely LOVED it there. It is beautiful inside and out! The grooms space is so fun, the bridal suite is gorgeous. I wish I could have been there to photograph during daylight hours to capture the natural light in that space. The food was also delicious. I hope to return to shoot there soon!

What an awesome venue for any event or occasion. A very unique one of a kind place. Check I out you will not be disappointed!

The venue is absolutely stunning. Our wedding was so very elegant and yet relaxed thanks to the staff at Chef Jack's. The team has a can do attitude, is overly accommodating and extremely attentive to you on your wedding day. I love details and organization and they are a 5 star plus!! The food was unbelievable. Presentation was amazing, served hot and was out of this world fantastic! Our wedding guests keep telling us that this was the best wedding they have ever attended. They rave about the venue and the food non-stop! We can't stop talking about how special our day was and the stage was set by the team of Chef Jack's Catering and the Historic Courthouse 1893 venue. We love this venue and catering team so much we are planning on booking a 5 year anniversary party to do it all again :) Thank you Chef Jack's and Historic Courthouse 1893 Mr and Mrs Haerter.

Highly recommend for your wedding venue! We received so many compliments on the beauty of the venue and the quality of the food. So many guests said "That was the best wedding food we've ever had!" The staff was so wonderful to work with and we were so happy we worked with them! I will say the parking was the only downfall of the venue, but if that doesn't matter to you then there is no reason not to book them!

This place is gorgeous and had plenty of room for the event that I attended. Helpful and fun staff, great food, so much room for fun with friends and family. Other businesses close by as well so the party can go on after you're kicked out!

Beautiful venue for a wedding. Food was delicious! Bartenders were extremely welcoming. There are only a few bathrooms which caused a line which is not the end of the world. The whole place was beautiful!! There were side rooms people could sit in to get away from the crowd with comfortable seating.
