The food wasn’t good at all. Rice was terrible. Beef was okay. I wasn’t happy at all. Wouldn’t go again. calamari was decently seasoned but ive had better. :/ just mediocre all around. The rice was such a pathetic excuse for steamed white rice.
I’ve honestly been coming here for years, as long as I could remember. I’ve had great memories here. The food is great and the atmosphere is too. The bar side stays open late and has great music and dimmer lighting that the restaurant side. Definitely recommend for you to come by. Very local friendly 🙏 Chris is a bartender and he is amazing with the drinks and even better energy! If you’re looking for great vibes and a cool local spot this is the place to be 🍾
I have been going to HIRO for over 10 years and never had a bad time. The atmosphere is awesome and we do late night dates there sometimes. The food is delicious 😋 and you never know what celebrity you may meet or run into there. Check it out you will not be disappointed... The drinks are to live for. Bon Appetit and Arigato.
Great service from Pomela. Sushi boat for two was great and the lobster/steak dish was worth a try. I prefer a more grilled flavor and no sauce on my steak but the meat was juicy and tender. The lobster was delicious and would recommend. The Udon noodles were ok and would have like a bit more flavor in the broth. Always the best best service from this location.
Never in my life did I think that I would give this place such a bad review but here we go. I have been here few times before without incident but this time we barely got refills for our water. We ordered the fried chicken wings as appetizer and it took 30 minutes to get and when it did arrive it was raw at the middle. When the manager finally came over after us making a complaint and where focused to ask for him again to talk to him face to face. He then came over and try to brush us off and said he would take it off the bill. But my boyfriend who was the actual one who took the bite into it didn’t like that answer then said you served me raw chicken and could have gave me salmonella and that’s all you’re doing?? The manager then exploded in front of the whole restaurant in front of everyone to hear him say I’m not dealing with you I’m ending this conversation I’m I already told I would take it off and that’s it. My boyfriend was understandably upset and wasn’t going step down from the manager being so unhinged over the fact that he raised his voice over him almost being food poisoned
This location is easy to find & in a nice area. The sushi is fresh and amazing. Loved the boat presentation! Soups and salads were excellent. The drinks from the bar were also very good. The biggest surprise was that steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare)! Our server was very kind with our party of 9, but they could have been just a little more attentive with refills and clearing empty dishes - there wasn't much space on the table for everything we ordered. Other than that, I highly recommend visiting Hiro.
Looking for a sexy late date night?? Try this place out. I never been in the daytime but my opinion the night vibe is better. Food is fresh and cooked to order my favorite rolls are the dragon rolls and Shrimp tempura is the best!! Staff is extremely friendly and give great suggestions on drinks. They also have other food items as well if you’re not into sushi. The drinks are the bomb and you’re guaranteed to feel a buzz after the second drink..lol. Overall I recommend this spot.
The service and atmosphere are always good! Food is sometimes melt in your mouth amazing, other times the same exact order is just good... wish it was more consistent, otherwise excellent place. Will continue to keep coming back.
