It is definitely a 3-star hotel, nothing more. The 2 bed/2 bath rooms are 2 adjoining rooms connected together via an interior door, and was fine for what we needed -- just that the website doesn't clearly call that out. Carpet had a fair amount of stains. Decor is definitely dated. Some outlets didn't work. They use Dish Network for TV service, and they experienced an outage for about a day and a half of our stay. That outage limited our TV show viewing to between 1 or 2 channels, until it was resolved. Check-in process was kind of a hassle -- they charged a deposit upon booking, so they had to reverse a partial of that, but then add a credit card hold for incidentals, then charge the balance of what was owed for the stay...requiring multiple CC card swipes. Bathroom lighting is TERRIBLY DIM. Valet service was really quick when requesting vehicle. On the strip but at the time of our stay there is construction underway at an adjacent structure. Requested additional towels a couple of times during stay, and those were responded to and delivered quickly. I was told to allow 24-hour notice if you want your room serviced/cleaned, which I didn't have a problem with. Have to use physical key card for accessing room, they haven't upgraded to the Hilton app where you can unlock the room door from your phone.
We stayed here 4 nights starting christmas eve. Upon reaching, we found the bathroom to be dirty, bunches of hair in plain view. Though we were uncomfortable, we had no choice but to let it slide by as it was christmas eve. We requested cleaning, were told they need a 12 hour notice, so requested a cleaning guy we saw on the floor who promised he will attend to it but did not. So we waited another day for cleaning after giving the notice, when we came back to the hotel the cleaning meant only taking the trash out and new towels were kept. The old ones were left in, no bed were made, no appliances or floor cleaned. Empty bottles were not taken away either. Two days of the three, the television did not work and we reported it 4 times at least. We got this documented the last day while leaving. Bella is the name of the lady who attended to us and she said the manager, Michelle will call us as she was in a meeting at that time. Did not hear from anyone, reported it to Expedia. Expedia said we will hear from them in 72 hours. No message still, called and found out the hotel has been unresponsive to Expedia. Really!? Now what gets me the most is finally the communication happens and the hotels folks say we never reported any inconvenience. I am appalled at the level of dishonesty. Instead of taking accountability, they just lied through their teeth. Shame on them for not only giving a poor experience to someone on vacation but also denying that it was brought to their attention. Never staying here again. |
Polo has been updating its rooms, and ours was updated and clean. Some may not think these rooms were updated, but since our last stay here, our room this time is much nicer and better than some of the other Diamond properties. The location is considered to be in the Strip, but due to F1 racing construction and the new shopping plaza (the old Hawaiian plaza in front of Polo), it’s difficult to access Polo both via a car or walking. The kitchen is very nice to have if you are tired of long lines for dinning on or near the Strip. We had the one bedroom unit and it’s basic, but comfortable for the two of us. for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too high/thick for us. The valet parking is out sourced and it’s $20 per night and the cashier actually asked for a tip when I had to prepay. So I asked the cashier if I gave a tip when prepaying, do I still need to pay the valet who brought my car to me. She said the tips are still needed when I pick up my car. This is not Polo’s fault, but it is still annoying. There’s a self park parking lot right behind Polo with very easy access and you can pay by phone or an App. The best part about Polo is that it doesn’t have a casino or restaurant , so you can get to your room without miles of walking inside of the property to get to your room.
Great location, barely off strip. Rooms are spacious and clean. Having a full service kitchen saved hundreds $$$. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spotless. The hotel has a nice shop for coffee and various supplies, at reasonable prices. I liked the fact that it doesn't have a casino--nice to get away from the noise and hustle of that environment. Park MGM is right across the street and is a very nice property to grab a bite to eat, gamble, have a drink, etc... Most every property on the strip is within walking distance (you'll get used to it, a lot of walking in Vegas).|
This was our third stay at Polo Towers and we have enjoyed each stay. Our 2 bedroom room was right next to the construction which was much quieter than expected. Housekeeping only comes when requested which I prefer. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We always choose Polo Towers because of the great location and no smell of smoke.
“Hilton” vacation club… appeared on my Hilton app while searching for a place to stay during my almost one week trip in Vegas. I may have missed the fine prints and a preventative at the check in counter told me this place was recently acquired by Hilton. Therefore all the perks Hilton offers are not available here except two free bottles of water. Even with the resort fee, there is no upgrade, no pool, no $15 food credit, no room clean without 24 hour notice, valet parking only for $25 including a service charge. You receive very annoying texts every a few hours to check in for any needs even though I specifically requested to be opted out from that. The room is old with orange carpet looks like it hasn’t been washed, drainage issue, fridge that freezes everything, etc. Anything I requested including room upgrades (even though I called and I was told I would get upgraded up on arrival), food credit, texting options, a room option at arrival was denied as they explained to me that “the upper management said no”. I felt no interest whatsoever from employees that they care, they were just bought by someone else and confused. If this place was most inexpensive option, I may look at it but otherwise I would avoid this property. And yes, I already talked with multiple people and the final answer was simply no it’s not available. For almost a week I stayed, I did change my own bed sheets, collected/took trash out, cleaned, hand washed dishes, for $250 a day including the resort fee. I was afraid to use the fitness center which included spa. I avoided to use that in case of any hidden charges I didn’t know and “upper management” would say no. Their management, Hilton, on the phone representatives are all not aligned.
Nestled behind a building, Polo towers offers title to no view of the strip. House keeping is an on demand to have your room cleaned and it must be 24 hours in advance. No dining, it is certainly a time share that rents out rooms. You will certainly be taken back with the old decor. Spend the extra $ and get a place on the strip

Probably about the only âdownsideâ to staying here is the fact that itâs on what is essentially a one way street. There is a concrete median so you canât pull in here if youâre coming from the south. Youâll have to circle around back - le

I enjoyed a one night stay at this hotel. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the strip, free breakfast and shuttle bus service to Aria. There is a lot of construction going on nearby, making the walk to the strip a bit more challenging. I di
