Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes Orlando - Hotel in Celebration - 7600 Mystic Dunes Ln, USA

We have stayed here several times since 2016 even during pandemic times and have found it to be clean and comfortable. The apartments are spacious with everyone having privacy . The furniture is clean and strong. Bathrooms are humongous and clean I have used the resort amenities as well and we have enjoyed them. I recommend it to anyone. The cost is affordable every time and parking is free.

The pictures below are what you could possibly find in a room here at Mystic Dunes. The room I rented clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Hair on the ledge of the shower. A nasty old hair brush in one of the dresser drawers and filthy upholstery. The bathroom smelled like urine. I contacted customer service and their solution was to offer me a new room. Halfway through a vacation and fully unpacked. The last thing I want to do is spend time during my vacation relocating to another room that was cleaned by the same crew that overlooked all the issues with my current room. Currently management is refusing to refund my money. I’ll edit this review if they finally agree. I spoke to someone in customer service and the person insinuated that not all points are touched when staff clean a room and she didn’t seem to be surprised about my complaints (almost as if this is a common complaint here and not handled with care). This has definitely changed the trajectory of my vacation experience and put a damper on the good vibes a vacation brings. Always had good experiences with Hilton (and Diamond resorts) up until this point. I’m a Hilton honors member and I’m seriously contemplating cancelling my membership.

I booked for Jan 19 to 22 2024. Was allocated to building 19 first floor. Slept well and room was clean. However, next morning Jan 20 a large spider was on the living room tiles in which I almost crushed, I don't know if it was verminous however, I immediately requested to change rooms. Was informed that no second and third floor was free, requested a refund. Was told no due to hotel policy. Mentioned that response perhaps required a legal review or interpretation based on customer safety. Immediately was informed that no more services were provided. Thus decided that best course of action was to leave the hotel despite no reimbursement. Very discouraging behavior's and business ethics. I will defer to customers to make there own analysis.

Always a great time here. The staff are great a lot to do between the pool bike rental and other activities. Fun and there activities that they have for during the week. Great location for the parks there even a bus departure to the some parks and return. A lot to do highly recommend

Great location, service, and rooms. We were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a recently refurbished room that was very spacious and modern. The staff was super friendly and the resort fee includes a lot of activities. Overall, a place to consider staying in when visiting Orlando. Also, heated pools for off-cold days!

I brought my family (wife and two children) to Florida to visit the theme parks to bring in the New Year. We arrived a day early and the hotel was able to book us for an extra day. Booked an two bedroom suite and it was nice at first sight. However, we found a red toothbrush between the bed and nightstand in the two queen room where our son's were sleeping. And a day later we found women panties underneath the couch in the living room. Upon checking out I expressed this to a lady at the front desk who by the way was extremely helpful and apologetic about the situation. She wrote it up and sent it to the house keeping manager who then called me the next day. I forgot his name but, after I explained to him our experience he apologized and asked me what is it I'd like to have happen. I told him I didn't know this work, you tell me. He then said he was going to tell his manager about this and call me back. This was 1/03/2024 today is 1/05/2024 and I have yet to hear back from him or the hotel trying to rectify this situation even after I called the hotel again on 1/04/2024. Although, I couldn't be connected to the manager I spoke with the operator took my number and said he would call me back....again still no call back. Kinda disturbing since I've been a loyal Hilton honors member since 2001 and my wife and I purchased VIP points while we were there. I hope this isn't what we have to look forward to moving forward.

We stay regularly at this resort, not only because of the completely re-done guest rooms, golf course, driving range, restaurant (that provides room service!) and landscaping; 4 pool complexes, complimentary bikes, tennis, putt-putt, immense gym, daily activities and so much more, but also because of the stellar staff! Shout-outs to the following: front desk: Melanie who behind-the-scenes ensures that our room assignment is exactly what we want and that check-in (this time with Elizabeth and Gaby) is quick and effortless. As we work during the day, our room is very important to us and cannot state enough how much this means to us, and how very, very grateful we are that Melanie is an absolute gem to work with. THANK YOU so much Melanie!!!! Also to Bouchra (Miss B) and lobby/gym housekeeper Leydiana who always make it a point to share a kind word with us and ensure that all is going well. We swim in the mornings and shout outs to Carlos, Eda, Belkie, Hilda, Elema, Mika & Michael who keep the pool areas clean and sanitized and Jose and Tony who ensure the water is sparkling clean and at a very nice 82 degrees! Grounds supervisor Denisse and her staff of Eda & Julio cleaning grills; Oliver & Roger blowing the leaves all around the complex; Alexi & Julio power-washing the sidewalks. Thanks also to housekeeper Francesca who provided us with toiletries and cleaning products and to Nelson (maintenance/engineering) who always stops to say hi when he sees us. We continuously see this staff and many others working on our behalf keeping the buildings, pools, grounds, etc. clean and they always take a minute to stop, say hi, ask how things are going, if we need anything else or if there is anything they can do for us. Truly this is guest care of the highest caliber, delivered in not only a very competent and professional manner but with kindness and caring that we appreciate so much! Thank you all – you are the reason we choose this resort!!!

It was great to spend a few days there. The two bedroom units work great for two families. As usual with time share programs...beware. We were told that we would receive two $400 certificates for most of the major airlines. Not a bad deal right, wrong. They were promotional packages for a travel agency in Canada. You needed to pay a refundable $50 to find out from them, it might give you about $100 to $125 total. Oops, we believed the person selling the presentation. She said she had been doing it for years. Keep in mind, this was the person getting you to sit through 2 to 3 hours of nonstop pressure. I should share her name but she might have been told that but failed to check on it. Good luck. R
