This hotel was the ideal spot for our quick visit to Universal Studios. After a long drive from the Bay Area, we wanted to avoid the hassle of navigating LA traffic and parking during our two-day stay. The hotel offers convenient shuttles to the park, but we found the clean, well-lit path that connects directly to CityWalk to be a great option. It’s an easy 8-10 minute walk, even at night. The hotel itself was inviting and spotless. The front desk staff, both in the morning and evening (I wish I had noted their names as they truly deserve recognition), were welcoming, attentive, and extremely helpful. Despite the hotel being busy, we were promptly and respectfully treated. I had a special request that could have easily been declined, but instead, they accommodated it with a smile as if it were no trouble at all. For this trip, I let the hotel app choose our room. Although I typically prefer an upper-floor room away from the elevators, the app selected a lower-floor room near the elevator. To my surprise, it turned out to be a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds and quality linens. The only minor drawback was the limited view due to the lower floor. Overall, I recommend this hotel whether stopping in LA for business or to spend a few days at the theme park.

This is our second trip to this awesome hotel. We checked in with Cristina who is so amazing. She upgraded us to a room overlooking Universal Studios, my kids were so stoked they could see it. It’s the little things in life. The room was so nice and I loved, loved, loved the bathroom/shower. The housekeeping lady was so nice making sure our room was tidy each day. For breakfast we went to Cafe Sierra and we enjoyed the made to order omelettes station. Javier was our server and he was a true delight and super friendly. Our hostess Silvana was really nice explaining the prices. For dinner we ate at the bar and I can’t remember our servers name ( young lady with curly hair) she was so attentive and polite. Finally Linda checked us out and she is so sweet. Thank you to all the staff for making this trip a memorable one.

We had a lovely 11-night stay. The hotel room was spacious and included a sofa for relaxation. However, we encountered some issues with the room, they handled it well, moving us to a new room. The only drawback was that it took us two hours to pack and move all our belongings after a long day out. They kindly gave us a meal on them. The hotel is conveniently located near the main attractions in LA, and having CityWalk downstairs was very handy. The food at the hotel was okay but a bit pricey, so we opted to get food from supermarkets and nearby restaurants. They had a Starbucks downstairs however I wish this stayed open beyond breakfast time. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel had a good overall vibe. We had to deal with an issue where our holding deposit hadn't been fully released. It took me around six phone calls and a few emails to figure out what went wrong. Eventually, we discovered it was an issue with my bank not releasing it back. Overall, it’s a convenient and clean hotel with lots of services. A good hotel if you're visiting and doing all the theme parks.

Hilton at Universal city is an amazing hotel. Just a short walk from universal studios. They have valet parking. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Coffee maker in each room. The beds are very comfortable. I’ve stayed here before and this hotel is consistently excellent with lots of very kind and capable staff. Wonderful pool. Family friendly hotel.

The hotel is a close walk to universal studios. Everyone here is super nice helpful and inviting. I seen guys polishing the brass on the carts and dusting the chandelier. They have coy fish around the back with turtles. Complimentary water in the rooms.they had a power outage and the front desk provided not only a warning of it but also flash lights. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Room service and hourly car rental on site. The beds are amazing! If any management is reading this and knows what mattress is in the rooms please tell me. I really want one. This was the best stay at any hotel. Amazing job to all the staff.

Not a good experience here. We booked two rooms for two nights. I checked in and noticed mold in BOTH rooms fully growing on the shower walls. It was bad enough that I turned right around after seeing the rooms, and told the checkin counter. However, even though there was clearly mold and we never even touched the rooms, they insisted we pay for an entire night in both rooms (we checked in 4pm and left around 5:30 after spending an hour in the lobby finding another place to stay… the rooms were untouched). So now I’m out hundreds of dollars because they aren’t maintaining safe, mold-free rooms and charged us anyway. Terrible experience.

We loved our stay at the Hilton. It is conveniently located near Universal Studios. You can get to the park by walking or a shuttle that takes you to City Walk. There aren't that many food options at the hotel that are kid friendly. We had to bring lots of snacks. The room we stayed in was clean and had lots of space. There's a gym and pool with hot tub at this hotel. We also saw a boba machine which was so neat.

Merveilleux. L Hôtel est vraiment très bien. Les chambres très propres. La literie est excellente. Le restaurant est sympathique et le personnel bienveillant. Les portions sont grandes et le goût y est. Il se trouve à quelques minutes à pied du parc Universal Studios.

Pretty good ride. It's kind of like the planes ride at Disneyland, but possibly better? I'm sure some would argue. It's definitely a place for the fans. I suggest you should come early because the ride would be less than 30 min.

Very well-designed little water play place inside Universal. Probably not a reason to buy tickets in and of itself, but if you have an annual pass, bringing your kid with their swim clothes and playing in water is a good time!
