Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale & Executive Meeting Ctr - Featured Reviews (1845)
Arrived at the hotel earlier than my check in time and they were able to check me in! Super friendly and accommodating, I really appreciated that! The staff was also great! The cleaning lady even helped me find my way and room , she was the sweetest! The room was clean , but you can tell the whole hotel needs an update. I do hope Hilton is paying their workers and staff fairly because they made my experience so much better. I only say this because there were people protesting outside the hotel in the mornings.
The staff make this place. The building is dated and a little run down, the elevators and parking garage arm kept having issues, there are tiles broken off in places, and the windows desperately need an exterior cleaning so you can enjoy the view. But everyone is incredibly kind and thoughtful and remembers your name. Which makes it really disappointing that these wonderful staffers have been on strike for a year. They are the best thing about the hotel, give them the raises they deserve.
Honestly if it wasn't for the staff I wouldn't even believe this was a Hilton property. I travel 40 weeks a year for work and typically look forward to Hilton properties. The front desk staff, ballroom staff, and maid services are wonderful at this property. enjoyed each interaction and the small detail oriented differences... they are the only reason I couldn't bring myself to doing 1 star.
my rooms A/C didn't work. the A/C in the main ballrooms didn't work. The A/C in the lobby didn't work. The entire hotel is hot. all of my clients and colleagues staying here suffered the same conditions. even changing rooms to what they described as "cooler rooms", which only brought a marginal difference in temperature. I work in high performance sales and my mental fatigue was real by the 4th day of no sleep because of the heat. I could understand if this was a motel 6, but being a Hilton property this should have a higher standard for comfort for guests and it should have never been something
Our company had a ballroom where temperature for our guests and staff stayed hot resulting in a huge loss of revenue for our business, and unnecessary stress. Again huge disappointment coming from a Hilton. especially considering the amount of money we spend annually on ballrooms and hotels as a company.
We will continue to work with Hilton properties, but unless this one can foot the bill to get the A/C fixed I won't ever be booking this property again.
and if you are looking at staying here as a guest, consider ANY OTHER PROPERTY if you are sensitive to heat.
This Hilton is a dated property, with multiple issues and nice people: 1) WiFi very slow at some moments, and you expect issues during any online work. It is a risk for any business professional; 2) Dated rooms with VERY old furniture; 3) Billing issues - charging me for a breakfast I did NOT take and multiple phone calls to resolve it; 3) Nice people working there.
Advice to management: Do not write you copy/paste excuses - you make things much worse and lose trust completely, better make immediate investments to meet $200+/night price expectations from your customers.
Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with accommodation for a business trip. The WiFi speed will not support video conferencing. After spending over an hour with IT on my first night trying to find out how I could get the "premium" WiFi access, I was told by a front desk attendant that even if I paid for it, "it's no faster than the standard speed" which is free. I was also told that I could "go next door and try there". I burned through a month's worth of personal hotspot to attend a video conference that lasted one day. When I checked in, I asked that my room be turned over daily and indicated that I would put the privacy hang tag on days when I did not want the room changed. When I turned down the bed to go to sleep the first night, there were blood spots on the sheets with no housekeeping to change them out. Coming back to the hotel on my last day, after a LONG day, I stopped by the desk and asked for a bottle of water. The reception clerk asked my room number, spent an inordinately long time reviewing on his computer to tell me that I had been given one when I checked in five days ago and couldn't have another. I retuned to my room to find that the room had not been turned over as requested, after not having had the room serviced the day before. Long story short, the customer experience is definitely not what I've known the Hilton to be, and I've stayed in many across the globe. There are better options than this one. Take any of them.
Not worth $200 and definitely not qualify as a four-star hotel. We arrived at 7:30pm and there were only three staff members: the valet attendance, the bartender, and the concierge staff. Apparently, the doorman was off duty so nobody could help us with our luggage. The entrance of hotel was hard to find. Rooms are okay, but everything felt somehow very old. We stayed at the Hilton at Pasadena several days ago, it was much better than here.
Stayed for 4 nights while we did the usual tourist stuff. Location is a short drive to all the sites. The rooms were very clean! Mini fridge, but no microwave. Valet was $35 a night and self park was $29. What made it a great place to stay was the staff! We arrived late on a Friday and Greg at the front desk made check in a breeze and even made me laugh which was nice after a 15 hr drive! Housekeeping, front desk, valets, and gift shop attendants were all so kind and helpful with any request or question we had. Thanks for a great stay!
*Just a comment from another review below.. the front of the hotel is very easy to find and there was also no doorman when we checked but we asked for a luggage cart and the valet went inside and got us one.
If it were not as expensive, if the fixtures and amenities (bathroom, entertainment, bed) were not as dated - and if the bathroom faucet was not faulty, the breakfast room not absurdly noisy, if out of the hundred of rooms available they had not chosen one directly across from the ice machine if if if… then I this hotel would deserve more than a high 3/5 rating. Our room was clean and bright. The elevator to the 14th floor fast.

The best hotel in Glendale hands down! It's obvious why Marriott made this a tribute hotel. Every detail was thought of in this hotel and you literally have to go nowhere between the rooftop lounge and the breakfast bar. The rooms are exquisite in th
Stayed 3 nights here and I can you it's very clean with the hard flooring and I also saw the cleaning lady mop the floor and sprayed soap as I was walking passed another room. It is in a very great location with a mall and tons of restaurants close
