This hotel was a bit of a disappointment. After a 8 hour drive we were very excited to arrive to the hotel. We booked the hotel based on the hotel website. Unfortunately the website reflected a much nicer environment. The hotel seems tired and needs a deep clean. The immediate entrance to the hotel seems run down. The rooms have a great layout. However the water pressure in the showers is an issue. The pool area needs some maintenance attendance with lights and cleaning. Fresh paint, a deep clean and some maintenance could go a long way at this property.

I regularly stay at Hilton properties and booked this property for a golfing weekend with the guys. Great location with many attractions within walking distance. Service was outstanding. Before I parked my vehicle a manager offered to deliver my bags to my room. The staff, including housekeeper responsible for my room #1700 was very hospitable. During my departure, Brian went above and beyond to ensure that I had all the help I needed to transfer my luggage from the cart to my vehicle. Absolutely exceptional service from start to finish during my 2 day stay.

Hotel in general was good, definitely shows it's age. Our room was clean and the a/c was nice and chilly. Elevators were very noisy and jumpy could definitely use some work. $23 breakfast buffet was comparable to other hotels free low quality breakfast and didn't even have a pancake or waffle maker. Valet parking was confusing because they refused to valet our truck stating it was "to big" but we pull into the garage and the exact same truck we have is parked in the valet spaces. All in all it was a good stay with some rough spots.

Here’s the thing about a hotel. The room is supposed to be clean. The heat and air is supposed to work. The Wi-Fi, if they have it, is supposed to work. The difference maker for a hotel is the customer service. Major fail.||By far the worst check in experience we’ve had at any of the Hilton brands in 20+ years. The lady checking us in went beyond indifferent to down right rude. We greeted her with a smile and got nothing more back than attitude and a scowl. I saw her at the desk the next day, and the attitude was still flowing, so at least it isn’t just us. ||We tried to use their dry cleaning service. The clothes were dropped off at the desk prior to 9 am as required for same day service. When I went to pick them up at 9 pm I was told that they had not been send for cleaning. “Don’t know why, sorry. Are you checking out in the morning?” Yes, we kind of needed them. The clothes had been there for 12 hours, and no effort was made to let us know that they had just sitting there. ||As for cleanliness, there was hair on the shower wall and on a “clean” towel. Probably from the cleaning crew, but definitely not from us. The nail heads sticking out of the door frame in the bathroom are a laceration or a snagged garment waiting to happen. ||So, ultimately, there was no interaction with any employee that could be classified as a positive experience. In retrospect, I probably should have realized that if the Hampton Inn virtually across the street has higher room rates than the Hilton there is likely a reason. The customer service here is terrible.

Bryan the valet was very nice professional and helpful. The person I was with really wanted the balcony, so the first room we had to switch because the doors wouldn't open, so we were in my opinion punished for switching because he replaced the room with the stinkiest room in the whole entire place with the opposite view we had originally and the view was boring.. The elevators were excruciatingly hot with no air circulation at all... The stinky room was practically unbearable. No matter what we did the smell of horrible body odor or onions one of the two was still lingering. The second day I got a bottle of something comparable to Febreze from the housekeeping staff and I sprayed the entire place. All Fabrics including the drapes and couches and carpet and unfortunately that only lasted for a few hours. Also the balcony door was pretty much broken and you needed the strength of a man or at least two people to open it and that was disappointing to say the least. Other than that, the stay was ok.

Location is great! Rooms were almost cleaned. Found some stuff in the drawer from previous guest. Water pressure in shower was weak and felt water was about to run out. Beds were too soft for my liking. Reception service was welcoming and courteous. Parking garage is expensive.

We stayed for two nights to at this hotel and it was not a good experience. If we had been staying longer I would have changed hotels. We paid (extra) for a king room for 3 people (2 adults and a small child). We only received two bath towels. When my wife went to the front desk and said we were short a towel and needed an extra, the staff member seemed exasperated and was very disrespectful. She also notified the staff member at this time that the bathroom door in our room was broken. The doorframe was falling apart and looked like someone had nailed or stapled it back together, but the door itself was a pocket door that was completely nonfunctional and could not be closed. The staff person said he’d “let engineering know” but no one ever addressed it. This meant that for the duration of our stay, we did not have a door between the bathroom and the bed, which you can touch while standing in the bathroom. Unfortunately this was not the only issue with the bathroom - the faucet handles were broken as well and one of the two towel hooks had been ripped from the wall. We also discovered that both the deadbolt and the door latch were broken and non-functional. Our room was clean at check-in. But housekeeping didn’t come the next day until the evening, at which point we were back in our room with a toddler and just asked them not to come in. Other issues with cleanliness: the pool had green algae growing up the windows and the water was extremely cloudy. There were broken bottles and trash right outside the parking garage doors and the steps to the front of the hotel. We believe there was a wedding party also staying at the hotel, and that the place was very busy and the staff seemed frazzled. I feel badly for having sent housekeeping away sternly because if they were still cleaning in the evening, they’d probably had a hard day. I am sure the front desk staff also had a challenging day, but to be treated so disrespectfully was jarring. This is a centrally located but quiet location but definitely not Hilton quality. It seems like there are some issues here that could be addressed at the management level that would make the guest experience much, much better. We wonder if our room had actually been taken out of commission and then the hotel was overbooked so they went ahead and filled it? I hope that for this price not all of their rooms are in this condition. Either way, we wouldn’t stay at this property again and we regret doing so this time. I see that the manager seems to be commenting on reviews saying they hope folks will give them another chance, but with so many other great, reasonably priced options in the area we will not.

We are in town for the Copa America game tonight. A couple hours west, we had some radiator issues, but thankfully, we were able to resolve it and make it to keep our reservation and we are so thankful for that! What a great experience and stay. The room was great, every customer service contact was great and the energy of the guests in preparation for the game was so fun! Best of all probably was Brian, the valet guy! My husband shared our vehicle issue with him and he happens to be pretty mechanical so as my husband, who is not mechanical, was checking things, he helped him out and gave some pointers and tips. Then when we were loading the car, he was right there to assist! Brian was so giving, friendly and just genuinely a great person! We need more people like him in our world assisting and doing so with such care and friendliness. We are so thankful for Brian and cannot praise him enough kudos! We will definitely plan to return to this place in future travels!
