Hilton Grand Vacations Club Grand Waikikian Honolulu - Hotel in Honolulu - 1811 Ala Moana Blvd, USA

The accommodations were wonderful. We had a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, living room with sofa bed, bedroom with a soaking tub, bathroom, balcony, and washer and dryer. It was immaculate and looked like new. ||The entire Hilton Hawaiian Village is a great place to stay when vacationing in Waikiki. There are 5 pools, a lagoon, beautiful beach, several shops and restaurants. Friday nights they have fireworks. They also have a very nice luau on the grounds. ||The Grand Waikikian has a lounge to use if you need to stay later than checkout. They have showers, lockers, comfortable seating areas, and charging availability. Our flight home wasn’t until 9:40 pm, so we stayed there after we checked out until we had to go to the airport in the evening. We used all of the facilities all day long, including the pool. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Hawaii (which will be our 21st Hawaii vacation).

We had a great time. Beautiful place specially the beach. Next to the abc market. Clean pools and free towels. Service was great they gave us the Ocean view early in the morning since it was available you see the luau show from your room balcony 😀

We stayed at this hotel in a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment. The apartment was very nice and well appointed with daily housekeeping with was perfect. It had a full kitchen for making meals for the kids and reheating big lunch leftovers. ||It is close to Ala Moana shopping center and a good coffee shop under the Prince hotel (for Aussies that would want decent coffee including flat white). ABC stores under and nearby as well. Whole Foods was a $10 Uber trip away too! In fact most Waikiki locations where we went were in this price range. ||The pool near the hotel, the Paradise pool was awesome for kids and warm. They had waterslides operating between 11 am and 5 pm. The pool opened at 9 am and closed at 6pm. There are multiple other pools in the complex and the beach is a short walk away. There is also the public lagoon, though it was really cold compared to the ocean and pool. The kids loved the fish in there. The only downside was the towel situation. They gave a pool towel card per person and you used that to collect towels. The towel stand would close at six at all pools except the Tapa tower. If you were at the beach in the afternoon until late and missed the towel stand, you either had to wash & dry the towels in the apartment or go to Tapa tower to return. We opted for wash and dry. ||We tried a few food outlets in the complex. Tropics bar was ok, though my husband’s chicken came out undercooked! He also had an awful soggy Reuben sandwich at CJ’s New York Style Deli. ||Overall it was a great stay.

We had an excellent trip. Resort was great. Its large so plenty to do. Lots to do within walking distance and restaurants as well. Rooms were spacious. Very clean. Washer and dryer in the room was a huge perk. Came home with mostly clean clothes for a change.

First and foremost, We would like to thank " Alaine " We left some paperwork at home that we needed to check in, and Alaine following procedures knew of an additional way for use to provide that paperwork to check in. For us, after several flights ✈️ that had us up and going for 20ish hrs to get to Hawaii, we REALLY APPRECIATED her knowledge, customer service, and smiling face. The rooms were clean. The cleaning staff was kind. Nothing EVER came up missing. Breakfast was better than ok, but not the best. I don't have complaints. It's just we were at this hotel for 8 days before going to a different one for the other 5 days in Hawaii and even though you can have Omelets made for you each day, there was not a GREAT variety for someone staying 8 days. The morning after getting off the plane and eating breakfast on site at 0745 hrs. We went to the pool area, ( does not open until 0900 hrs. We stayed at the pool area until 2000 hrs ( 8 P.M ) Drinks, and ordered food between the correct hrs. It was a Great stay here..

1st I must say that I would never write a bad review if I felt that this hotel appreciate my business. The manager Angelica, disregard my complaint and the hotel lied and said it was handled. Handled by disregarding my complaint. Now my issues with this room 502, the room was patched up to look as if it was upgraded. The master bedroom floors were dirty that I couldn't walk on it, not without shoes. The bed sheet had blood (I brought this up with Angelica and was told that someone would come to change out the bedding. For 4 days I had to sleep on towels. When room service came to my room, I was told that they couldn't clean room because I only booked 4 days. Words can't express how I feel. To be honest, I felt I would have gotten better service if I was not black. The only thing that was told to me...."SORRY ". I will look into contacting a lawyer to see if I could get my money back. No one should be paying all this money to sleep on towels. I would never stay here again. Trust me, I'm looking for a lawyer. I couldn't get clean sheets. I have photos to back up my claim.

We brought our family to share what Hawaii is. They enjoyed all activities and they love the beach especially waikikian resort almost 2 steps way to the beach. But we are so disappointed and disgusted the way front desk Customer Service, treated us. After the issue with the front desk they tried to down grade us to lower rooms, as we are owners a premier plus level. Don’t ever let this people treat you in this manner. Be careful when buying a timeshare read your contract carefully especially when you are in Orlando Florida. The sales agents in Hawaii are pretty good and will help you out to give you the best experience possible.

Fun hotel so long as you know what you are signing up for. Room had what we needed for our family of 4. Kitchen was great for breakfast and lunch. Had the basic items needed but note there is limited counter space. Room|Itself is on the smaller side and two queen beds made for someone sleeping right up against either the wall or bathtub. Bathroom had a bit of a smell and some mold on the ceiling. ||Kids enjoyed paradise pool. However it is REALLY small considering the size of the hotel. One hot tub was closed which resulted in over 30 people in the one that worked. Huge bummer about the slides only being open during select times of the day. Half the pool is in the shade for just about the entire day. Limited seating but I did like that they wouldn’t let people into the pool until it opened to get their chairs. We stood in line 15 minutes before it opened and was always able to get a seat. ||Lagoon wasn’t a hit with our kids. Water was way to cold but the lagoon did get sun the entire day. Beach behind the hotel is very rocky. Bring shoes or you may cut your feet. ||Overall, while we enjoyed our stay we most likely won’t be back. Would rather stay somewhere that is more traditional Hawaii with less people.
