Hilton Garden Inn Winston-Salem/Hanes Mall - Hotel in Winston-Salem - 1325 Creekshire Way, USA

The tile in the bathroom shower was so moldy, with other unknown debris, so I cleaned it up with a wash cloth. I understand laxness in the room but I think everyone expects a clean shower. Additionally, there is no free breakfast but the breakfast attendant was very courteous and the breakfast was delicious! I don’t think I would recommend this location as it’s cleanliness was sub-par.

What a happy surprise to see an updated room this trip. I've been staying in Hanes Mall area for several years and ended up moving to one of the newer Hilton properties nearby. Nice to see they revamped this gem. ||Love the greenway entrance right out the front door- I don't miss too many workouts here.

I would like to start off by saying this is a great location. My husband and I met great staff members. Barbara the bartender/ waitress, was awesome, Salena at check in was great, Hillary at the bar was awesome. Everyone had great customer service and was very attentive. You couldn’t get a better place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. Overall 10 out of 10 I recommend. This hotel is located near restaurants and several shopping malls. GREAT StAY!!!

I had to cancel my reservation today last minute. I was aware I would be getting charged as there is a 24 hr cancelation policy. I called and spoke to Noah and apologized for canceling last minute. I asked him to please charge me for the night and email me the receipt. He was so kind.

I would not recommend staying here. Staff was nice and I ordered dinner which was great. Breakfast was bad, tasteless eggs and worst grits ever. My room was clean, bed comfortable, and nice TV. But woke up to men working in room next to mine. Hammering and drilling at 8:30am. Coffee maker did not worker and shower leaked water on bathroom floor. Elevator area on first floor smelled awful, like a dead animal.

We just stayed at this hotel for a trip to Wake Forest University. The hotel is about a 10-15 ride from the university. The Hotel is conveniently located off a major road. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, some are walking distance. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation in the lobby and ajecent conference rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Now for two minor complaints. First, the HVAC is very loud. When it turns on you can't hear the TV if watching and you have to turn the TV volumn up high to hear it. When the HVAC turns off, the TV is then too loud and you need to turn it down. Again a minor point. Second, given the rooms have doors that allow you to enter the room next door, it allows for noise to trave between rooms. We could easily hear the people next door at 6:30 in a.m. talking. If I was paying attention, i could actually hear whtat they were saying. I am not sure what can be done about this, maybe to scatter guests throughout the rooms when the hotel is not full so you are not right next door to an occupied room. Again, overall it was a nice hotel, conveniently located with great staff/service.

Upon arriving, there was a sign that stated the person on duty was away taking care of an emergency. The lobby was unattended, which could be a safety hazard. They have construction going on, which limited the parking spaces available. There was literally nowhere to park, but they continued booking rooms. The rooms have been renovated but the layout is odd now.

I am updating my review, as management has addressed my issue and took responsibility. I commend your quick response and thank you for addressing with your staff, to ensure this does not happen again. I have changed my rating because the service I was provided after my complaint was well received. Thank-you!
