Hilton Garden Inn Starkville - Featured Reviews (581)
This review is less about the facility because as discussed in other reviews it needs renovation, but the staff was great!
Theresa was phenomenal at every level. We had a large group and she called prior to our arrival and made sure we were situated.
When a couple of room problems did arise, she was instantly helpful. The bartenders were awesome as well.
We had been having a hard time securing rooms for a trip. Mrs Joy the manager, helped us and was great. She remained in contact with me and took care of all our needs personally. Would definitely recommend staying here for any business or pleasure needs. Other hotels need to take notes from Mrs Joy on their customer service skills!
Service is impeccable! We had our two French bulldogs with us and they were super happy and comfortable. Got a bandaid from the front desk as well. Everyone is so polite. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Starkville.
The bathroom tubs could use some updating.
But the STAFF!!!! They were all so accommodating and friendly. Everybody from housekeeping, the restaurant to the day and night staff.
Had one of the best burgers ever from the restaurant!,
Location was perfect. Very close to campus. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although we didn't arrive in time to eat, the food smelled delicious and the customers seemed to be having an awesome time (and enjoying the staff interaction). Upon arrival, the atmosphere felt "like home"...
Only complaint was the door 🥹🥹 our keys worked; however the door was jammed. Staff was very helpful and were prepared to move us if we couldn't get in. A guy from the front desk came up and RAMMED his shoulder into the door to get it opened. (I'm sure that's beyond the scope of his job duties 🫣🤦🏽♀️🙊). It was fine for us bc it open fine from the inside plus it was already after 10pm and we were leaving early in the morning. We just needed a clean place to sleep.
Oh, and some time during the middle of the early morning hours, we heard loud banging noises and could assume someone else's door on our floor must've also been jammed. We've had this issue at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tupelo also. So I think it's safe to say it may be a structural issue with the digital lock system
NO WAY this hotel deserves a 5. |Staff is great, the sheets seem clean, and the bathroom seems clean, except for ceiling.|This place has carpet that is so old. The furniture in the rooms is dinged up. There is a chunk taken out of my bathroom door. AC unit is disgusting. Bathroom has no ventilation, so everything is damp after a shower. Hallway smells of dampness.
Horrible on every level. This hotel charged our card in advance for the room. We drove 2 1/2 hours. When we got there they said there were no rooms. We had a confirmation and payment receipt. Apparently their system was “hacked.” Every hotel in Starkville was completely booked as were hotels in Columbus. When I asked to speak to a manager, the employees working the desk called the manager but she wouldn’t talk to us. Unbelievable!! Horrible. Had to drive another hour at 11:00pm to Tupelo to find a hotel. Hilton should be ashamed and this manager who refused to step up and deal with a tough situation should absolutely be fired. We weren’t given a refund and the unprofessional front desk employees were flabbergasted that I would be upset about having no place to sleep AND being out $300. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not stay here!
First thing we noticed when we got to our room, was the door didn't close, you had to physically force it to close and lock. Then, our toilet wasn't draining so I called the front desk and they brought me a plunger to fix myself... Which it didn't fully fix - and for $200+ a night, the customer shouldn't be the one to try to fix it! The towel rack in the bathroom is falling off the wall, and the cabinet where the refrigerator & microwave is, is rotting. We definitely will not be staying here again!
From the time I spoke with Amy Tuck, the sales manager, about reserving a block of rooms for our Conference attendees, my experience with La Quinta Inn and Suites in Starkville has been superb in all respects! It took me several days and phone calls
Came in town to celebrate our MSU grad and discovered this gem! We arrived at 10:30 AM in the mood for a hearty breakfast and Arepas did not disappoint!! The guys each enjoyed 2 Mañaneras and a Rumbera! I ordered a gluten free Good Morning with slic
Clean bathrooms with plenty of stalls for women. Good views of the field from majority of the seats. Usually easy to get a seat ( unless Oklahoma visiting). Get there early enough and you get to see how they chalk the lines.
This place serves the best tacos and the best central American food in Starkville. One bite of their mouthwatering tortas and you would immediately have an explosion of flavors in your mouth. This gem of a place is located on 182 right across the roa
Great living place, always quick maintenance with anything Iâve ever needed fixed. Itâs quiet and peaceful. All neighbors keep to themselves and are quiet and friendly in passing. A lot of friendly people and dogs at the onsite dog park. Pool is
From the time we exited our vehicle we were struck by the sleek decor and pristine atmosphere. Our server presented a menu of delicacies that admittedly evoked mouth watering. We ordered water and a sampler platter of appetizers plus a vegan meatball
These were the BEST donuts! Their cinnamon twist delicious!!! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and nice...I can't wait for my next trip down to Starkville!!
It's well kept and an asset to the community. They need to open the new parking. I thought it wasn't open; but when I left the fields the other day, the cones had been moved and people parked there. Still a great place!
