Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus/Meadowlands - Hotel in Secaucus - 875 Route 3, East Service Road, USA

This hotel is perfect if you are looking for a room to watch the ball drop or have business in New York. But for a romantic weekend or something I wouldn’t recommend. The carpet felt sticky, the tv was very slow, the hotel pool or hot tub didn’t work. Breakfast was 16 dollars for something that should have been continental. The hotel restaurant was under construction. Overall the hotel seemed like it could have been nicer if things had been in working order.

So much was excellent: room, beds were not too soft, bathroom plenty of room to put our stuff, shower nice, very quiet, check in and out excellent, friendly! beautiful setting in and outside of hotel, shrubbery. I would only request that the drapes in room be able to be closed all the way to block the light. We very much enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

What made this place exceptional wasn't just the hotel and its location which are perfect by the way. It was Edgar, he was so kind, patient and ever so helpful. He gave us perfect directions to the bus stop even after I kept calling, not once did he seem impatient with me. We will definitely stay here again without a shadow of doubt.

I really loved the people at thos hotel, but unfortunately not so much the location in terms of needing to drive to eat anywhere else... That being said i really enjoyed the food available on site, breakfast is excellent and once again great service... As is the the food in the evening, really good quality and great service... I just prefer to walk to a restaurant after work... If you don't or you are in for a short stay you will love it... 5 stars ( just not for me this time as staying yoo long), short stay, perfect 👌

Outstanding hotel and service! The location is great being that I was constantly traveling to NY during my stay. Restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. I felt safe both at the hotel and walking to the local restaurants. I would stay here again.

The ONLY good thing about this place was its closeness to NYC. There was crackheads doing drugs in the stairways (the needle kind, not marijuana). We were here for four days and saw several mice, even one in our room. When we first checked in, there was blood on our pillows and sheets. They told me i had to check in EVERY morning of my stay, i have been to dozens of hiltons and i have never seen any at this low of a standard. When i tried to explain the situation to the general manager Nigel, he was immediately aggressive and stand offish. I called support and she put me on hold. When she came back she said mr nigel hungup on her and asked if i would walk down to speak to him. The guy essentially interrupted and berated the support to point i just said give me my phone back my phone. This man has ZERO guest service ability and a clear inability to manage his own reservations. I wouldnt trust this general manager to work a drive thru.

Overall I would not stay here again. I recommend staying elsewhere! I was so excited to have this short stay with my boyfriend. We didn’t se each other for over a month so we looked forward to a romantic weekend. We specifically booked a king spa room. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the spa- it was very dirty and only two Jets worked, there was stagnant water near the jet start button that smelled like sewage. Not to mention the shower had no pressure and it wouldn’t get warm. Various parts of the bathroom was dirty. The carpet in the room felt stinky and we didn’t want to walk around barefoot. We figured we’d check out the hottub and Pool. But at 9:30am the room was locked and they said that it would be another hour before they could open it due to maintenance needing to shock the pool and hottub. I wish I could add videos because photos just don’t show how nasty things really were. Also the fitness center is small. Half of the fitness equipment weren’t working.
