Hilton Garden Inn San Luis Obispo/Pismo Beach - Love hotel in Pismo Beach - 601 James Way, USA

I stayed here with my family, there was a large group of over 45 people in the lobby at 11:30pm partying. It was terrible, the group had no respect for any other people that were staying there. I came by the Front Desk to get towels and the female at the desk told them to quiet down and they never did. How entitled they are… never coming here again.

We traveled down to Pismo before our summer break ended.||The hotel is located in a convenient location (right off 101) and approximately 10 minutes drive down to the Pismo Beach Pier. ||The room was spacious but noticed lack of attention to details on the housekeeping area. Upon arrival, we noticed the clipped nails left on the carpet (yes pretty gross) from the previous guest of the room. I also noticed some sticky residue left on the counter. Bathroom and the vanity area were separate which was a plus.||Parking is available at charge and offers plenty of spaces. We appreciated the books/coloring papers available in the lobby area which was a nice touch to people traveling with kids like us.||Staff we encountered with were all friendly. Because of the location, I would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a great hotel off the freeway right between Silicon Valley and LA. Easy to get to, near an awesome grocery store and lots of good Japanese restaurants, beautiful trails for a run in the morning and allows dogs. The rooms are a little run down but they are clean and spacious and the staff is SO friendly and helpful.

Stephanie at the front desk was lifesaver! She went above and beyond to make sure that I had what I needed for a comfortable stay here. Much appreciation for her thoughtfulness and care!

Found cockroach in coffee machine. Stayed Nov 18-19 2023. Immediately left room and collected in another room (we had 2 rooms for a total of 4 people). What was worse is that when we brought it to the attention of the front desk, it was like they didn't care. I asked for manger to call back. I wrote to manager Mark Roemer, with no response last 2 weeks. Also called several times for follow up and wrote to Stephanie Vega. She called me once and said that she would check with management and get back to me. Still no response after following up several times via email and phone. The agents say that they will pass on my message and someone should reach out right away. However, no response. They have a problem with sanitation and with management who doesn't show that they care. As a Diamond member, I am heavily disappointed. Stay here at your own risk!!

Location and room was nice. However lots of surprise charges we were not made aware of. No posted sign or verbal notice that parking is not free and breakfast is not included. We would never have paid $15 each for a below average hotel breakfast where they consistently ran out of things. Will not be coming back.

I have been a Hilton Honors member for 20 years. I booked this hotel for my daughter and her pet to use my points for her to visit a friend. Because the reservation was on a Friday and Saturday the rates were double the weekly price. I used 60K points for one night and was extremely disappointed to use so many points and pay over $300 for second night for a dated and dirty room that smelled horrible enough that my daughter had to open window to air out and she sent me a video of her room. The cost for this location is definitely not worth it!!!

Great location. Nice clean room but parts of the hotel obviously need updating. If particular about freeway noise, the hotel is right beside 101. The noise was not bothersome to me but may be an issue for others. Rooms are not well noise insulated. Often, I can hear people conversing in the adjacent room. In general, the front desk staff members look too serious and bored especially one particular lady in the evening. She acts like the owner of the hotel but not in a nice way. Only one evening front desk staff, William, was friendly and felt authentically helpful. Hotel is a 5-minute drive to beautiful Pismo Beach pier.
