We’ve been to this hotel a few times over the last year and we really enjoy it. Everyone is very nice and helpful the only complaint is we aren’t give enough towels and the water gets everywhere on the floor. The main reason we came back is because we loved how sweet and nice Marylou, Angie, and Marilyn were at the breakfast bar. They were so welcoming every morning and we loved talking to them every morning we always looked forward going to breakfast to see them. Also their service and food is great. Overall we love the hotel and would definitely come back.
The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the food at the restaurant downstairs is exceptional! I didn’t know a ham and cheese sub could be so delicious! There are restaurants and grocery stores within ten minutes, which is also convenient. I was able to work from the hotel’s wifi without any problems and the staff were positive and helpful in working out a reservation issue I accidentally created. I would definitely go here again!
THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE TOTALLY GUTTED & RENOVATED!|- No hot water Saturday night & Sunday|- Evacuated very early one morning due to multiple fire alarms for no reason|- Carpets & wallpaper in rooms & hallways are badly worn.|- And more problems, but to just summarize:|We’ve stayed there many times for 20 years, but past 2 years have been bad. Previous 18 years were good. SO DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE HIGH OVERALL RATING ON TRIPADVISOR, BASED MOSTLY ON REVIEWS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS. ||WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN UNTIL IT IS FULLY RENOVATED OR REBUILT!
I wish I had an option to give this hotel zero stars. I had never had such terrible front desk service. Avoid Nicole R at all cost, this woman is bad news. I booked rooms on behalf of my coworker for a work trip on Hotel Engine that allows me to not have to complete a credit card authorization form. She calls tell me I still need fill out this form even. Fine, I followed through so my coworker can get settled in because it was already 6 pm when she arrived. Nicole made me redo the form 3 times because she claimed that I wasn't putting in all 16 digits of my credit card on the form. Ultimately I believed she was enjoying watching my coworker stay stranded as my coworker also noticed she was smirking the whole time this was happening. How terrible or a human you have to be when you are watching someone be stranded. I ended up moving my coworker to another hotel because Nicole ended up hiding in a room behind the front desk when I called the hotel.
Don't come here for expecting good service.
Great hotel and staff! Donna McKain, Director of Sales, was wonderful to work with, a true hospitality professional. I had a large corporate group coming into town that needed overnight accommodations for the week and she helped me every step of the way. Always answered the phone and responded to emails in a timely manner. We had lots of last minute changes and she handled all the details for us- with a smile! Staff distributed welcome gifts at check-in and even coordinated shuttle service for our group. This is a safe area, clean hotel and my group enjoyed their stay. I work with hotels all across the U.S. and their customer service sets them apart and they deserve recognition. Highly recommend this hotel.
I agree with many of the reviews that the staff is good, but the hotel itself is old and in major need of upgrade. Our room was worn, sheets were thin, toilet very loose from the floor and the faucet aerator sprayed water everywhere. Refrigerator was loud and kept us up the 1st night, I turned it off the 2nd night. Hallway smelled liked an old folks home the second you stepped off the elevator. All in all, too many other newer & fresher hotels, so probably would not return.
This is a nice hotel. I have stayed here many times over the past 8 years. I will now look for something a little better.
The good: restaurant and bar, nice clean common area for sitting and chatting, nice outside area for relaxing.
The bad: dated rooms, the fitness center is very small with barely working equipment.
The front desk manager was very nice and helpful when I asked about the area. Room appeared to have been cleaned when I entered the room. Went to the bathroom to freshen up and a bandaid was in the toilet. As I prepare for bed I pulled the covers back and urine stains covered the mattress, no mattress pad on the bed, wood chips or something and hair in the bed.
This museum is a true masterpiece in itself. The exhibits are meticulously curated, showcasing the depth and richness of our world's heritage. The museum's dedication to preserving history and promoting understanding was evident in the immersive expe
Three brothers restaurant really delivers on some good homemade food at an affordable price with a good clean atmosphere ð yesterday mom had a hankering for some Polish food so we figured we would give three brothers a try and we both agreed we wi
Today was my first time going. We had Jess as our waitress. She was nice, sweet, and very helpful. We had a variety of things, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I do recommend trying and calling them for reservations because they are busy
I really love this little part of Heinz Park. There are two resident swans that are there every day, even in the winter time. There are always flocks of geese and ducks and I just recently saw some hooded mergansers. Now that is a gorgeous bird. This
First time here, recommended by a friend. Food was good, margaritas were even better. We were most impressed by the staff, very engaged and willing to help you understand the menu. Definitely would recommend.
I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Omelette and Waffle Cafe. This was my first time dining in and I like the food and the location. It's a little tucked away and it's small with a patio for outside eating. We dined inside since it was a littl
