We have never been to Nebraska and wanted to be somewhere that was close to things to do and Midland University. Village Point is walking distant with super cute stores they literally have everything and amazing restaurants. Only 20 min to the University. We did breakfast they offer every morning and staff (Karina) was always friendly and very attentive. Our room was cozy and clean. (Junior Suite) No complaints here. This will be our home when we come now to visit our son. Thank you for a great experience. I highly suggest Barnatos Bar they have live music and a really cool speakeasy. Very classy place. 3 minutes away.
Super clean Hilton Garden Inn at Omaha West. I have stayed at many hotels in the area and this one has been the best. (And I am super picky.) It was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was great (esp. Veronica at the desk and Karina at breakfast). I highly recommend it.
Nice place, enjoyed our stay, stayed here before. Maintenance needs to do a better job, Closet doors had issues opening, light switches at door were cobbled together. Didn't have this issue in my previous stay room.
When I visit West Omaha, and I visit here a lot… HGI West O is my Home Away From Home!!! The staff is Top Notch. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I usually stay in a suite or a jr. suite. Both have more room and a little bit more privacy when traveling with more than one person. I usually get the Bed & Breakfast special. It’s worth it to me to enjoy the breakfast onsite, than have to leave the property in the morning.
While on a motorcycle trip, a storm front forced us into an unexpected overnight stop in Omaha. Upon arrival at this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at the great value it offered. The room was clean and well appointed, with comfortable beds and a good shower. Although the location is a bit detached from amenities, the hotel boasts a free shuttle to wherever guests may need to go. Dave, the lounge bar tender/shuttle driver, was happy to recommend to us an excellent local Itailan restaurant, and gave us a ride both there and back, as well as stopping at a walgreens so we could resupply some essential items. We couldn't have been 'stuck' at a better place! Great experience overall.
Beds were very uncomfortable. The cleaning staff started banging on doors at 9am even though normal check out is 11am. They proceeded to talk loudly and bang around the hallways playing loud music as if to drive the guests away. We arranged for late check out at 1pm, but the key cards were disabled at 11am. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful for the whole 5 days we were there. They were the redeeming quality of our stay.
Room was perfect, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, large bathrooom, nice queen beds. Has an inside pool; outside firepit and two sitting areas. Felt safe the entire time we were there, excellent staff!!
