Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans Convention Center - Hotel in New Orleans - 1001 S Peters St, USA

We had a fantastic week in the Hilton Garden Inns. They took care of every need that we had. Everything was always totally stocked in the room. They always gave us extra clean towels, and we always, for some reason, always needed them. They were so kind and courteous, and they treated us like family when we'd go into the halls on different floors & down in their restaurant. We've always got to have fresh coffee and hot tea. They are such a great staff - a great Team! They stand for what Hilton has always stood for: The Stay!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗

Rooms are nice, front desk attendant was professional. The valet Glen was awful, we arrived while it was raining and received no help from him in regards to bringing us a bellhop cart (which was right beside him), made us unpack the vehicles in the rain instead of bringing the vehicle into the parking garage and letting us unload there, and was more concerned with his phone than even spelling our name correctly on our valet ticket. We’ve stayed at this hotel in the past with absolutely no issues but this employee is the most unprofessional employee i’ve ever met.

The cold air conditioning hits you when you walk thru the front door and it is such a relief from the hundred degree heat! Lobby is not very large, but comfortable. Front desk staff is welcoming and friendly. Rooms are pretty clean and nice size. Some updates are needed. Digital key didn’t work so I had to go back down to front desk. They fixed it right away. Broken slats in room closet door. Bathroom faucet loose and hot/cold switched sides. Laughed when I brushed my teeth and water was turned to cold but hot was coming out. Shower head was old and sprayed everywhere. Other than that, the room was nice. Breakfast Buffett was good. Hit the spot. Need to change it up a bit to add some real New Orleans cuisine. All in all it was a great stay.

The hotel needs some improvements. They initially placed me in a room with two ozone machines running, which made me feel sick and dizzy. Thankfully, the housekeeper, Bessie, immediately took action and demanded that my room be changed. She was lovely, and my new room was much better. The beds were comfortable, the TV lineup was good, and the Internet was reliable. As a gold member, the only perk was a $10 daily credit, which barely covered two bags of chips at the market next to the reception. A free daily breakfast would have been much better. Additionally, the key card kept getting deactivated, and the front desk couldn't figure out how to charge my card on file, billing my company instead. Now I have to sort this out with my company. The hotel is conveniently located near the convention center and within walking distance of many great restaurants. However, the housekeeping in the main areas and elevators needs improvement as they were always dirty. Despite these issues, the staff were generally friendly.

We booked 2 rooms for Friday night. We got in late and the staff were friendly and helpful! Our room, we had no issues - just wish the window paneling was fixed so we can see outside instead of dew in the pane. The other room our friends were in however, they said that their AC wasn't working properly (Room 511). It would stop working randomly through the night making it uncomfortable. Aside from some loud guests next to them, their primarily complaint was a malfunctioning AC unit and didn't prefer the beds. The hotel is clean and our room was clean. There were waters by the coffee - we just drank them. There is a parking garage kiddy corner that we kept our car parked at. Had no issues there and was $25 for 24 hours. So, worked well for us.

The check in desk continually locked us out of our room stating that the charges were not paid. Every day we had to go through the same discussion about the charge card. I am not staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in New Orleans again. Getting charged $20 for coffees is ridiculous. ||The rooms were excellent and clean and other staff members were nice and helpful. ||Julianna Corsini was extremely helpful trying to get the front desk staff to understand what the situation was.

The staff was helpful and the service was great. Team working the bar were so friendly and nice, especially AJ! The rooms are good. Bathtub just needs a little work. Rest of the hotel was clean and decorated nicely. Our room was clean. Great location in the city as well. Especially if you’re doing a cruise out of NOLA.

Best Place EVER! Rooms are spacious, clean. Front Desk staff are off the hook friendly, efficient and accommodating. We arrived a wee bit early to the hotel since our flight was well before check in and the front desk staff allowed us the ability to store our bags in the hotel while we explored New Orleans until our room was ready.||Every aspect of this stay - both on our outbound for a cruise to our return from the cruise was perfect! Restaurant/bar staff were friendly, food was great, atmosphere of the hotel was very relaxing. I love the security feature that only allows guests with room cards to use elevators - floors are locked down otherwise - great laundry room.||Also, close to the port of call for our cruise ship Carnival - a few min cab ride over! ||Will be staying here again on our next cruise our of New Orleans. ||Thank you EVERYONE we encountered during our stay!
