Hilton Garden Inn Memphis/Southaven, MS - Hotel in Southaven - 6671 Towne Center Loop, USA

Our room did not have blackout shade / proper window coverings. A bright light was shining through our window all night, preventing us from being able to sleep. Room wasn’t clean when we checked in. There was food on the floor from previous guests. Breakfast is $14 per person and it’s a buffet. I don’t think it’s worth it, because it wasn’t enough hot food. Containers were empty and we had to wait for them to replenish it. Lady managing breakfast had a prison guard attitude. The only good part about breakfast buffet was fresh berries. Front desk ladies act courteous, but when you tell them about issues such as cleanliness, they just say “I’ll pass it to the team” I am giving a 2 star instead of 1, but this is not it. Also check your bill to make sure there are no overcharges.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. This location is a horrible representation of the Hilton Brand and really should be shut down. For starters the sheets in my room looked dirty, but I didn’t make a fuss I was tired so I just went to sleep. The huge problem with this establishment is that the hotel staff particularly house keeping 100 percent steals valuables out of guests rooms! How do I know this? I know this, because on Sunday July 21st I fell victim to having something of high value stolen from my room by house keeping. They had cleaned my room and I realized that I had left a bag in my room; I called and said I was returning to retrieve my bag thinking it had probably already been turned into the front desk. To my dismay upon arrival the front desk woman said the house keeping said no bag was left in the room and acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about, and I said impossible I definitely left the bag in the room. Fast forward to checking the room and not finding the bag, I decided to go dumpster diving to see what I could find. Sure enough I find my bag had been discarded in the dumpster and the valuable item that I had left in a sealed zipper pocket of the bag was missing and the pocket that I had previously left sealed closer was left unzipped once discarded. The police came out and a report was filed. I URGE YOU IF YOU ARE READING THIS STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED ESTABLISHMENT‼️

This is consistently a great stay! My husband, son and I stay here while traveling up north for Christmas. Every time we stayed at this hotel - we were very pleased with our experience! The rooms have always been very clean The hotel is up to date and well decorated! I highly recommend this hotel to all!

The hotel staff at this location are CROOKED! Do Not Book with Hilton. Now let me back up my claims. My stay would have been great had I not been double charged. I booked through Expedia on August 11 and paid $376 for my weekend in Memphis/Southaven MS. So yesterday or Monday August 26, 2024 morning I get a notification alert from my bank that Hilton in has withdrawn $303.75 for my stay. So I immediately check my account and I had been double charged. I call the hotel in a calm manner explaining what happened to see if I could get a refund. They told me they don't understand why they are looking at double charges for that room and they will check with the manager and they will call me back. They never call me back. I call the next day and I talked to the same lady and she says their is no charge for my stay on Hilton's side talk to Expedia. So I call Expedia and they have me send a screenshot of both charges from my mobile banking and see that I have been double charged. They called Hilton and Hilton says we are both lying. I am literally befuddled right now. Thankfully Expedia gave me a refund, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is how Staff gets their under the table money and bonuses. Please check all reviews. I am not the only one stafg is lying too!

Friendly staff, conveniently located, room was nice and clean. However, I was unable to sleep due to the outdoor spotlights shining in the window of 304. With both blinds completely closed, it appeared to be daylight inside. I thought I could deal with it, but if given a similar situation, I'll ask for another room.

Stayed here last year and enjoyed it so trying again. They were doing some renovations while we were there so had a little noise and inconvenience but I’m sure it will be worth it. Location is fantastic close to shopping, restaurants and close to the highway.They have an in place small restaurant that is open for breakfast (for a price) and dinner hours too(also for a price) and the small bar is open in the evening. Indoor pool and hot tub are a nice plus as is the on site laundry.Rooms are nice and bed was comfortable so all in all it’s a nice place to stay.

CONS Stupid room thermostats that automatic shut off. The hallways are saunas. The breakfast that they charge for is not good at all. Go to CFA, cost less and better. PROS Nice pool area. Clean rooms. Nice staff.

Very nice staff and rooms. Also enjoyed the fitness room and spa. Best of all was the view from my room - felt so private!|Points to improve - hair dryer plug doesn’t fit into the wall and I discovered in the middle of my shower that the conditioner had run out!🤣
