The hotel is adequate. However, the employees are amazing! One gave us a fabulous recommendation for the Rainbow Diner. There weren't enough people in the evening, yet the person tending bar (among other tasks) always managed to get us the drinks we needed. (We were visiting difficult family.) I really appreciate great staff.
Well of course a hotel charging OVER $400 per night sells $3 individual bottles of water and doesn't have free breakfast. Great place if you want to empty your wallet for nothing. No thanks, I'd rather stay at another hotel next time!
This was so much better than I expected! The room was clean and updated. The front lobby was immaculately clean with a cute decor, with food available for purchase 24/7. I got scared when I saw the free earplugs in the room but thankfully it was super quiet. And the digital key was fabulous. Will stay here again the next time I’m in Lakewood!
Great getaway spot as it's only 20 minutes from Point Pleasent Beach and right off the highway too. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient and hot tub was clean. Indoor pool and fitness center was good too. Plenty of free parking and you can walk to the Longhorns Steakhouse next door for some cheap Jack and Cokes.
My husband and I stayed here for four nights for a wedding and while we were here at the pool heater broke down and was not fixed so we didn’t go into the pool or hot tub because the hot tub was also cold. The coffee machine that was in the lobby to seemed be broken for the four days we were there. Although the front staff always got me a coffee from the kitchen, which was very nice and they didn’t charge me.||The breakfast buffet is a little bit underwhelming and the first time we had breakfast, no one came to bring us coffee for 20 minutes. It seems like the server and the chef were arguing in the kitchen. When we had breakfast this morning on the day, we departed. She did come by and brought us coffee, but didn’t check if we needed any refills.||But the room was a very nice size. We had a junior suite and the bed was very comfortable and the maid surface was excellent.
We had a great three-night stay here. We had to book a hotel quickly as we were arriving in town for a funeral. A big thank you to David at the front desk who was incredibly helpful and patient as he worked to get us into the room type we wanted at the best rate. When we were delayed getting into our room, we received complimentary breakfast. The food was great, our newly renovated room was beautiful and quiet, and the staff was very friendly. We will be back!
So when I got the room, it was clean and undone at 5pm. Oh and no Complimentary breakfast. You have to pay for it. I never had to pay for breakfast. I will never coming back here. And I do not recommend this place to anyone. Do not book here.
Charging for the bare minimum cereal and a bagel even though its set up like a buffet is crazy room was clean but $3 water bottles in the room is crazy on top of a $300+ standard room. Surprised I wasn't charged per flush
This gym right here is awesome! From day one, I was supported above and beyond, due to never performing such cross fit tasks before. Every single instructor took their time with me each time I was there with ease. They modified everything for me and
Gorgeous restaurant!! Top quality service!! Delicious and unique food experience!! I had an amazing time and so did my taste buds!!! Oh and the best part I love the desserts so creative!! Can't wait to be back for another experience!
Best, high-class coffee shop in town. Workers are very helpful and kind. I had an XL white chocolate on an empty stomach, and I can hear colors and taste music notes. Great stuff!!!
