Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport - Hotel in Ronkonkoma - 3485 Veterans Memorial Hwy, USA

Excellent customer service and soft product - the best I've experienced at a Hilton Garden Inn in the United States. The front desk staff was polite and quite helpful. They verbally recognized us for having Hilton status, which was nice. There was daily housekeeping without having to request it, a rarity these days. Housekeeping was very good and thorough. They even made our tissues up into a little flower. The breakfast offerings were very reasonably priced and fairly good, and the staff member taking orders was extremely kind and accommodating. The building itself is a little dated, with fairly short ceilings and slower elevators. However, the room interiors have been updated recently and are quite good. Sound proofing between rooms could have been better. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations.

The Hilton Garden Inn MacArthur Airport is overall a great hotel! The only complaints I could have is some minor things that need fixing in the rooms like a the bathroom door could use some new paint and some repairs of chipping on the middle bed side shelf. This is a great place for businesses trips as they provide you with a in room Ethernet connection. There is no communal business center as it mentions on their website. There is just a printer but no computers but there is plenty of space to set up your computer in your room and to connect to the WiFi through the Ethernet. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous, they have a snack place for snacks for purchase and even a restaurant! The only thing that would make this hotel the best ever is an indoor pool! That would make an amazing addition. It would be great if they would include the breakfast and parking in the price of your room. This hotel is also very pet friendly!

I frequent this location often due to my job. Regarding the front desk staff I find them friendly, flexible and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Housekeeping and maintenance are outstanding. The food is delectable! Management team seems to be running a successful hotel.

Had a great 1 night stay and I made the reservation only 1-2 hrs earlier that afternoon earlier morning and I noticed that the Hotel was pretty full but I was ask where I would like to have my rm. on the ground floor and what side of bldg of Hotel I would like which they did there best to accommodate my request I ask for. The room was very clean and great looking and new looking at that too. Was a great stay and will be using The Hilton Garden again next time in that area of NY.

Lifetime Diamond Member. My normal experience if I would like to extend room additional nights is to call front desk on Hotel phone and they extend my room and ask that I come down at my convenience to get keycards updated . Here they say I need to come down to lobby so they can confirm availability ( ? ) and process my credit card ( on file ) . Marriott with worldwide mobile check in ( never have to stand in line at front desk ) makes hotels like this seem positively rude by comparison. Grievance filed with HILTON HONORS. They could find no valid reason that I would need to be in lobby for them to check room availability so this is a case of front desk agent simply being dishonest/difficult. They did say that , although it is not Hilton standard worldwide policy, some hotels will want to check ID and swipe actual card for room extension. It appears that this is one of those rare hotels with their own “non standard” policy so be aware if you are accustomed to be treated more respectfully given your Honors Status

As a Hilton member, I was a bit disappointed in this hotel. Two of my 3 towels had a red stain on them. Almost like a red paint roller. I'm unsure if they were clean or dirty as I discarded them immediately. The floor was sticky in the room bathroom. The hotel seems a bit outdated with regards to in room carpet, fixtures. One of my two reading lights did not work. Of course the side that I chose the first night was out, as I stayed in a room with double queen beds. The hotel is very convenient in terms of using the MacArthur/Islip Airport. The front desk is very attentive and friendly. The lobby is clean.

Good hotel with very good breakfast offerings. Their pantry is packed with many items - one of the best pantries out there. I am a lifetime Diamond and I have seem them all. The front desk staff is hospitable and experienced. Management personnel are available to resolve any issues with rates, amenities, or any other problem.

Very clean, nice rooms, and super friendly staff. The older gentleman at breakfast especially was extremely kind and really went above and beyond. Super happy with our stay.
